<p><strong>Senior Workplace Relations Specialist – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract</strong></p><p><strong><span></span>Part Time or Full Time considered | Flexible WFH options</strong></p><p>Kinetic is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Workplace Relations Specialist </strong>to join the Workplace Relations team on a<strong> 12 month fixed term contrac</strong>t. This is a hands on advisory and case management role supporting complex employee and industrial relations matters across a large, operational and unionised workforce.</p><p>We offer flexibility on hours with both part time and full time arrangements considered, along with hybrid work from home options.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><ul><li>Provide expert employee and industrial relations advice to operational leaders and People teams</li><li>Manage complex and high risk ER and IR matters end to end</li><li>Lead responses to external claims including unfair dismissal and general protections matters</li><li>Prepare written submissions, evidence and correspondence for matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals</li><li>Support investigations into complex workplace issues to ensure fair and compliant outcomes</li><li>Contribute to enterprise agreement bargaining including drafting and industrial strategy input</li><li>Engage with unions and employee representatives to support effective consultation and dispute resolution</li><li>Develop and deliver ER and IR training and guidance for leaders</li><li>Monitor legislative and industrial instrument changes and support ongoing compliance</li><li>Partner closely with the Head of Workplace Relations to strengthen frameworks and capability</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in an ER or IR advisory role within a complex or unionised environment</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing unfair dismissal, general protections or similar external claims</li><li>Proven capability preparing submissions and formal responses for external proceedings</li><li>Deep working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, modern awards and enterprise agreements</li><li>Confident advising leaders on disciplinary, performance and grievance processes</li><li>Commercial, risk based and practical approach to workplace relations advice</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>High level of judgement, professionalism and discretion</li><li>Able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Legal qualification preferred</li><li>Candidates without a legal qualification will be considered where they bring substantial, proven ER or IR advisory experience in industry</li></ul><p>If you are looking for a flexible, high impact workplace relations role with scope and autonomy, this opportunity offers meaningful work and strong organisational support.</p>
