This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently prepare clients, protect their interests during testimony, and provide clear reporting to the handling attorney.<br><br> </div> <div> <strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div> <ul> <li>Review case files, medical records, and relevant documents before depositions.</li> <li>Meet with clients to explain the deposition process and prepare them for testimony.</li> <li>Represent applicants at depositions, make appropriate objections, and protect the record.</li> <li>Provide written summaries identifying key testimony, concerns, and recommended follow up.</li> <li>Coordinate with handling attorneys and case managers regarding preparation, scheduling, and next steps.<br><br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div> <ul> <li>Active California State Bar license in good standing.</li> <li>Prior California workers’ compensation experience, including representing applicants at depositions.</li> <li>Strong client communication, preparation, and advocacy skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Reliable availability and responsiveness.<br><br> </li> </ul> <div> <strong>Compensation<br></strong><br> </div> <div>Contract compensation based on experience and agreed scope of work.<br><br> </div> <div> <strong>To Apply<br></strong><br> </div> <div>Please submit your resume, availability, and requested hourly or per deposition rate.</div> </div> </div> <p>This is a remote position.</p>
