If you desire to work with other talented people who share a passion for professionalism and growth, then a career with us may be a perfect fit for you!<br><br><strong>Associate Attorney</strong><br><br>We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our firm's practice in <strong>Arkansas</strong>. The ideal candidate is one who has experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, has strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. Because our firm’s headquarters are in New York, this position entails communicating with our main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.).</div><br></br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Maintaining and supervising a heavy &amp; diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in <strong>Arkansas</strong>.</li> <li>Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.</li> <li>Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing &amp; drafting agreements, etc.</li> <li>Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.</li> <li>Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.</li> <li>While this role is based from home, you may be required to travel for in court appearances.</li> </ul><br></br><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><ul> <li>Must be currently admitted to practice law in <strong>Arkansas </strong>(multiple-state admission is a big PLUS)</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm</li> <li>Must possess superior organizational &amp; time-management skills to meet strict deadlines</li> <li>Exceptional written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Highest ethical standards and professional integrity</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization</li> <li>Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus</li> </ul><br></br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul> <li>Compensation is competitive and commensurate with expertise and previous experience</li> <li>Training &amp; Guidance</li> <li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Benefits</li> <li>401K Benefits with Employer Match</li> <li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li> <li>An incredible team of smart and supportive people!</li> </ul>
