Prepare facility for the Joint Commission Inspection (JCI) and other inspections by regulatory agencies such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and state agencies. Consult with facilities, at times other than during surveys, on resolving issues or concerns with specific items such as airflow in sensitive areas, hazardous materials, safety, and security management. </p><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;"> </p><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;"><span style="color: black;"><strong>How you’ll contribute </strong></span></p><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 8pt;"><span style="background-color: white; color: black;"><span class="normaltextrun">A </span></span><span style="color: black;"><strong>Manager, Facilities Environment of Care </strong>who excels in this role will:</span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Perform on-site facility inspections and survey readiness assessments to verify conditions of compliance at each facility.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Document and develop written inspection results, suggested corrective action and required action plans to correct deficiencies / verifying corrected deficiencies. Assist the Director, Environment of Care with preparation, maintenance and review of all required EOC annual plans: Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials, Medical Equipment Management, Utility Management, Fire Safety and Emergency Management and evaluations.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Evaluate and review data collection and data management by facility engineering. Inspect and verify that facility Statement of Conditions documents are in place, up to date, and accurate.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Review documentation and verify that hospitals are compliant with the computerized Work Order/Preventive Maintenance Building Maintenance Program as it relates to the Joint Commission (TJC) and Life Safety.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Regular and reliable attendance.
