You will assist the team with day-to-day accounting operations, help with data entry and reconciliation, and maintain financial records with precision. You'll work in a dynamic remote environment, collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to support financial integrity across all areas of the business.<br/> <\/div> <br/> <\/div> <b>Responsibilities:<\/b> <br/> <\/div> <ul> <li><span>Accounting Operations Support: Assist with maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, preparing and processing basic journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data input.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Month-End Close Assistance: Support the team with preparatory tasks for the month-end and year-end close process, including running reports and performing basic reconciliations.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Help with processing invoices, organizing documentation for collections and payments, and managing basic vendor correspondence.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Data Integrity & Controls: Learn and adhere to internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Expense Management: Assist in monitoring and documenting company expenses, ensuring proper classification and adherence to policy.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Financial Compliance Learning: Begin to learn and apply local and international accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, VAT) under supervision.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Audit Preparation: Organize and prepare basic documentation to support internal and external audits.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Process Documentation: Assist in documenting current accounting workflows and systems.<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Financial Systems: Support the team in utilizing our accounting systems and tools (data entry, basic reporting).<br/><\/span><\/li> <li><span>Ad-hoc Support: Provide basic reports and analyses as requested to support the finance team's decision-making.<br/><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> <br/> <\/div><\/span><br/><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements<\/h3> <b>Must Requirements:<\/b> <br/> <\/div> <ul> <li><span>0–2 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or highly quantitative role.
