<p><strong>We are looking for a Product Manager, Sustainability Content & Methodology Governance to own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for Novisto’s ESG framework, questionnaire, and carbon methodology capabilities.</strong></p> <p><strong>This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of product management, sustainability domain expertise, data governance, regulatory change, carbon accounting, and enterprise SaaS delivery. </strong>You will help ensure Novisto’s platform stays aligned with evolving ESG frameworks, CDP questionnaires, S&P questionnaires, carbon protocols, emissions factors, and calculation logic while translating complex methodology changes into scalable product capabilities.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a structured, customer-oriented product manager who can bring discipline to a fast-changing sustainability domain and create a repeatable operating model for monitoring, assessing, prioritizing, implementing, validating, and communicating content and methodology changes.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></span></p> <ul> and calculation methodologies are changing continuously and must be managed through a disciplined product lifecycle.</li> <li>Novisto’s differentiation depends on combining deep sustainability expertise with scalable software, strong governance, and a clear customer experience.</li> <li>This role will help Novisto move from content maintenance to a repeatable, productized methodology governance model that supports enterprise adoption and customer trust.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your responsibilities will include<span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></strong></span></p> <p><strong>Own the product roadmap for frameworks, questionnaires, and methodologies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and maintain the roadmap for ESG frameworks, CDP questionnaires, S&P questionnaires, carbon protocols, emissions factors, and calculation logic.</li> <li>Translate evolving standards and questionnaire changes into product requirements, data model needs, workflow changes, reporting outputs, QA requirements, and release plans.</li> <li>Prioritize work based on customer impact, regulatory deadlines, business value, risk, implementation complexity, and strategic fit.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Build a scalable monitoring and governance process</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish a recurring monitoring process for supported frameworks, questionnaires, protocols, and carbon methodologies.</li> <li>Work with ESG experts, carbon experts, data analysts, external advisors, and customer-facing teams to identify changes and assess product implications.</li> <li>Create clear governance for content updates, methodology changes, emissions factor updates, calculation logic, templates, mappings, standard phrases, and release documentation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Lead structured impact assessments</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess whether each change impacts existing implementation, data structures, calculations, downstream reporting, customer workflows, assurance readiness, or exports.</li> <li>Separate routine updates from non-routine changes that require deeper analysis, working groups, customer SME input, or new product capabilities.</li> <li>Produce clear implementation scope, product requirements, acceptance criteria, QA approach, and release readiness plans.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality product outcomes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Product, ESG experts, Carbon experts, Engineering, QA, Design, Customer Success, Implementation, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement.</li> <li>Ensure domain interpretation is translated into clear, buildable, testable product requirements.</li> <li>Support release readiness, internal enablement, customer-facing documentation, and customer communications for major changes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Improve carbon calculation transparency and trust</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own product requirements for carbon calculation traceability, methodology documentation, emissions factor versioning, data quality checks, variance detection, and audit-ready evidence.</li> <li>Help ensure carbon outputs are explainable, repeatable, and aligned with recognized protocols and enterprise customer expectations.</li> <li>Support the evolution of Novisto’s carbon capabilities across Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3, supplier data, and calculation governance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of product management, product ownership, regulatory content management, sustainability software, carbon accounting, ESG reporting, EHS, compliance, or enterprise SaaS experience.</li> <li>Experience translating complex domain, regulatory, methodological, or data requirements into product capabilities.</li> <li>Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks, sustainability questionnaires, carbon accounting, data governance, assurance readiness, or regulatory change management.</li> <li>Strong structured thinking and ability to manage complex, recurring update cycles with cross-functional contributors.</li> <li>Ability to work with subject-matter experts and engineering teams to create clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release plans.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write customer-facing release notes, internal enablement materials, and executive-level updates.</li> <li>Strong judgment and prioritization skills across regulatory timelines, customer commitments, implementation complexity, and commercial impact.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with CDP, S&P Global CSA, GRI, SASB, ISSB, ESRS / CSRD, TCFD, SDGs, or other sustainability frameworks.</li> <li>Knowledge of GHG Protocol, Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3, emissions factors, supplier data, or product carbon footprint concepts.</li> <li>Experience with taxonomy management, calculation engines, reporting workflows, audit trails, controls, or evidence management.</li> <li>Experience working with consultants, assurance providers, external advisors,
