The Document Coordinator will be driven by accuracy and managing process while being highly organized. The Document Coordinator job scope also includes exceptional research skills and the ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. This role is full-time; non-exempt. This position has no supervisory responsibilities, and this position reports to the Final Docs Supervisor.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Pulls reports from the LOS/vendor to identify the aged trailing documents that are </span><span>currently outstanding with investors/Servicers.</span></li> <li><span>Requests any aged or needed trailing docs from clients and title/attorney closing agents </span><span>along with following up in timely manner.</span></li> <li><span>Works with investors, internal departments, and settlement/attorney offices to cure </span><span>defects found in the mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy - including re-recording </span><span>if needed.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with team members on projects.</span></li> <li><span>Performs data entry in the LOS by marking documents appropriately.</span></li> <li><span>Delivering documents to investor/servicer in a timely manner.</span></li> <li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Required Skills</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Experience with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook.</span></li> <li><span>Mortgage loan document knowledge and title work experience a plus.</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency with reports for reconciling data and management.</span></li> <li><span>Capability of handling and meeting deadlines, and prioritizing in fast-paced environment </span><span>with a heavy volume</span></li> <li><span>Ability to communicate effectively with department and clients.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Education/Experience</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent</span></li> <li><span>Mortgage Lending experience a plus</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Environment: </strong>This is a<strong> remote position</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong><span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p>Estimated Rate of Pay:<span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p>$19.00<br />This position is full-time; non-exempt.<br /><br />The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position.
