This role focuses on operational security monitoring, identity administration support, control execution, vulnerability coordination, incident response support, and audit evidence readiness.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing </strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day security operations activities, including alert review, escalation coordination, case tracking, and support for managed security services or internal monitoring functions.</li> <li>Coordinate incident response activities, including triage, tabletop exercise, documentation, evidence preservation, operational security readiness activities, communications support, and remediation follow-up.</li> <li>Support identity and access management processes, including provisioning governance, privileged access controls, periodic access reviews, and separation-of-duties administration.</li> <li>Coordinate remediation efforts resulting from internal and external security assessments, penetration tests, audits, and regulatory examinations, including tracking findings through closure and reporting status to the Vice President of Cybersecurity.</li> <li>Administer and coordinate security tools, dashboards, logging, endpoint controls, cloud security monitoring, and other operational cybersecurity controls.</li> <li>Support third-party security reviews by collecting documentation, tracking findings, and monitoring remediation commitments.</li> <li>Assist with policy administration, control validation, testing support, and preparation of evidence for audits, exams, and regulatory reviews.</li> <li>Prepare operational metrics and reporting for the Vice President of Cybersecurity, including trends, incidents, control performance, and risk indicators.</li> <li>Partner closely with infrastructure, application, and digital delivery teams while maintaining focus on security control execution and independent issue escalation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring to the Team</strong><span> </span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred.</li> <li>5 to 8 years of cybersecurity or information security experience, including hands-on operational security work.</li> <li>Experience supporting security operations, IAM, incident response, vulnerability management, and security tooling.</li> <li>Experience in a financial institution or other regulated environment preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft security tools, cloud security controls, endpoint protection, logging and monitoring, and audit support processes.</li> <li>Relevant certifications preferred, such as Security+, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC, or equivalent depending on experience level.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Success Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong operational discipline and follow-through.</li> <li>Ability to organize multiple security workstreams and drive remediation.</li> <li>Detail-oriented approach to evidence, controls, and documentation.</li> <li>Collaborative style with enough confidence to escalate issues appropriately.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tools & Work Environment</strong><span> </span></p> <ul> <li>Stable internet connection with speeds high enough for video conferencing and screen sharing </li> <li>Smartphone with current iOS/Android OS </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods sitting at a workstation and working on a computer </li> <li>Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers via email, chat, teleconference, and/or phone </li> </ul> <div> <div> <p><strong>Where You Can Work</strong> </p> <p>Candidates must reside within the United States.
