RKD Group, a leading direct response marketing and fundraising agency serving nonprofit organizations, is seeking VP/SVP, Strategic Engagement, to expand strategic partnerships and drive transformational revenue growth across the nonprofit sector. This role is ideal for a growth-minded leader who understands that behind every revenue goal is a mission, and behind every partnership is real-world impact. You will work directly with nonprofit executives to design growth strategies that expand donor engagement, increase fundraising revenue, and strengthen long-term sustainability. As VP/SVP, Strategic Engagement, you will lead full-cycle partnership development, from identifying new opportunities to closing multi-solution engagements, while serving as a trusted advisor to nonprofit leadership teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Own and exceed a defined annual net ACV quota, taking full responsibility for pipeline creation, deal progression, and closed revenue performance. * Build and maintain disciplined pipeline coverage aligned to quarterly and annual targets to ensure predictable outcomes. * Generate new opportunities through a structured outbound strategy, leveraging targeted prospecting, executive referrals, thought leadership, industry presence, and close partnership with Marketing to drive consistent top-of-funnel activity. * Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across multi-stakeholder nonprofit buying groups (CDO, CMO, CFO, Executive Director), navigating budget conversations, competing priorities, and executive-level decision dynamics. * Sell across RKD’s full solution set with confidence and fluency, positioning online, offline and analytical offerings as part of a cohesive growth plan. * Operate as a practitioner in client conversations, connecting high-level strategy to tactical execution and translating RKD’s capabilities into clear, measurable business outcomes. * Develop tailored, growth-oriented proposals grounded in client objectives and financial impact, aligning recommendations to revenue lift, donor growth, and long-term value creation. * Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene ensuring clean data and proactive communication of risks and opportunities. * Partner with Vertical Leads, Marketing, and senior leadership to shape and execute vertical growth strategies, including target account prioritization, whitespace identification, partnership development, and differentiated positioning to expand RKD’s market presence. * Represent RKD externally at industry events, conferences, and leadership forums, building executive relationships, strengthening brand presence, and advancing strategic growth conversations. What Success Looks Like * Consistently achieves or exceeds quota * Builds and sustains strong pipeline coverage ratios * Expands deal size through multi-solution selling * Drives executive-level trust with nonprofit leaders * Demonstrates urgency in follow-up and deal progression * Operates with commercial discipline and predictable forecasting PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: * 10+ years of B2B consultative sales experience (professional services, agency, SaaS, fundraising, or adjacent industries) * Demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-value partnerships * Experience working in or selling into the nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven sector strongly preferred * Comfort driving outbound activity and opening new conversations * Ability to speak credibly across marketing strategy, fundraising, data, and execution * Strong executive presence and ability to challenge constructively * Data-driven mindset with comfort in pipeline math and performance metrics * Resilient, competitive, and self-directed LOCATION: Remote, willingness to travel a minimum of 50% or as business needs require. The expected pay range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 annually. (The position level and compensation will be determined based on factors such as market location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity) This position is also eligible to participate in a commission plan as part of the total compensation package. Commission eligibility and structure are subject to the terms of the applicable plan and company policies.
