<p></p>About the Role<p>We're looking for a Collections Officer to recover overdue accounts for our U.S.-based customers. This is a phone-first role: you'll own a portfolio of delinquent accounts and work them until they're resolved, which means staying composed and persistent when customers delay, deflect, or push back.</p><p>We're hiring on how you handle the call, not how many years you've been doing it. If your collections experience is recent or limited, apply anyway.</p><p></p>What You'll Do<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of delinquent/overdue accounts</li><li>Make outbound calls and send emails to follow up on outstanding payments.</li><li>Handle customer objections and payment delays professionally.</li><li>Follow up consistently on payment commitments.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and next steps.</li><li>Work toward daily and weekly collections targets and KPIs.</li></ul><p></p><p> </p> <p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Some hands-on experience actively working overdue accounts — calling or contacting customers who owe money, handling objections, or negotiating payment arrangements. A few months count. We're not screening on years. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong spoken and written English.</li><li>Comfortable with high-volume outbound calls.</li><li>Clear, direct, and concise communicator.</li><li>Firm, persistent, and professional.</li><li>Strong follow-through and accountability.</li><li>Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics.</li></ul><p></p><p> This Role Is Not a Fit If:</p><ul><li>Your work has been reconciliation, posting, invoicing, or data entry, with no direct contact chasing customers for payment</li><li>You've handled inbound payment support or customer retention rather than pursuing overdue accounts</li></ul><p></p><p> </p> <p>We offer:</p><ul><li>$600 to $650/month, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated collections expertise.</li><li>Philippines-based candidates only.</li><li>Fully remote</li></ul>
