The Procurement Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager and procurement team by coordinating purchase orders, vendor communications, documentation, and tracking procurement activities for capital projects. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate procurement records, timely order processing, and effective communication between vendors, suppliers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders. INTRODUCTION

This position is based on our Corporate Offices in La Mirada, CA, with the ability to work remotely. The Procurement Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager and procurement team by coordinating purchase orders, vendor communications, documentation, and tracking procurement activities for capital projects. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate procurement records, timely order processing, and effective communication between vendors, suppliers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, process, and maintain purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Assist with vendor onboarding, pre-qualification, and supplier database management.
Track purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, and order status updates.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, lead times, and product information.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
Support the Procurement Manager with contract administration and vendor communications.
Monitor order progress and communicate any delays, backorders, shortages, or discrepancies to project teams.
