<p>Sales Development is the foundation of our Growth Organization, where new business opportunities come to life. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for our Account Executive team across two core buyer segments: Health Plans and Risk-Bearing Provider Organizations. You will research accounts, identify the right prospects, and use phone, email, video, and LinkedIn outreach to secure qualified meetings that generate new business pipeline.</p><p>This is a hands-on, builder-oriented role for someone who is dedicated, curious, motivated, and eager to grow a career in sales. You will have meaningful ownership over outbound strategy, access to modern sales engagement and AI-enabled tools, and opportunities to partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate with confidence and natural charisma on the phone and in writing.</p><p>The SDR will support assigned territories by planning, researching, and executing account-based prospecting strategies. The role is responsible for identifying buying groups and strategic outreach angles, conducting initial conversations, and coordinating qualified meetings with aligned Account Executives. The SDR will also maintain accurate Salesforce records and account-level data by leveraging sales engagement platforms, healthcare data sources, and third-party prospecting tools.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Build and execute multichannel outbound cadences, including cold calling, personalized and automated email, video outreach, and LinkedIn social selling, using the Salesforce Sales Engagement platform.</li><li>Research and prioritize accounts using public and private healthcare data sources, such as CMS, NCQA, AIS, and third-party platforms, to identify qualified prospects and strategic outreach angles.</li><li>Generate qualified meetings, opportunities, and pipeline for aligned Account Executives across Health Plan and Risk-Bearing Provider Organization territories.</li><li>Conduct initial conversations with prospects and use active listening to uncover customer needs and business problems, clearly communicating how Cozeva + Vatica Health can help.</li><li>Follow up on warm inbound leads and researched outbound prospects while consistently achieving call, email, meeting, opportunity, and pipeline targets.</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Account Executives to align on campaigns, messaging, territory plans, account strategy, and buying-group mapping.</li><li>Support Account Executives with account research and preparation for discovery calls, demonstrations, industry conferences, and events.</li><li>Build and execute outreach strategies for conferences and industry events, converting engagement into scheduled meetings and follow-up opportunities.</li><li>Work with Sales Operations to maintain and enhance Salesforce hygiene, pipeline reporting, and account-level accuracy, including locations, key contacts, phone numbers, email addresses, and other relevant data.</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.</li><li>1+ year of experience with healthcare in a clinical, payer, provider, health technology, or adjacent setting.</li><li>Sales-oriented mindset with a genuine drive to compete, learn, and win.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging prospects by phone and email.</li><li>Excellent time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.</li><li>Ability to work remotely during Eastern or Central time-zone business hours.</li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Experience:</p><ul><li>Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Sales Engagement.</li><li>Experience with prospecting and research tools such as ZoomInfo, Definitive Healthcare, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.</li><li>Cold calling or outbound prospecting experience.</li><li>Prior sales experience of any kind.</li><li>Clinical experience or background.</li><li>Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve research, personalization, and productivity.</li></ul><p></p><p>Action Oriented</p><ul><li>Proactively tackles challenges and seizes opportunities with energy and enthusiasm.</li><li>Independently researches issues and proposes solutions without waiting for direction.</li></ul><p>Customer Focus</p><ul><li>Develops strong relationships with both internal and external customers, prioritizing customer-centric solutions.</li><li>Identifies opportunities to enhance service and consistently addresses customer needs through effective communication.</li><li>Proactively seeks ways to improve the customer experience and foster long-term loyalty.</li></ul><p>Instills Trust, Demonstrates Self-awareness &amp; The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $55,000 to $65,000 (annualized USD).
