They engineer scalable lead generation, elevate brand positioning, and drive high-impact marketing strategies from the inside out. </p><p>They are now seeking to hire a Web Developer (WordPress) to support their marketing team with day-to-day website, email, and technical maintenance requests. The purpose of this role is to handle routine web edits, troubleshooting, and template fixes to ensure client websites run smoothly and efficiently.</p><p></p>Job ResponsibilitiesWebsite Maintenance &amp; Updates<ul><li>Handle basic page updates, content population, and layout adjustments across WordPress sites </li><li>Troubleshoot common website, layout, form, and plugin problems </li><li>Test all changes across various devices and browsers to confirm proper functionality before handing work back </li><li>Follow established processes strictly and flag any instructions that are unclear </li><li>Escalate issues that fall outside the defined scope to senior team members </li></ul>Email &amp; Technical Support<ul><li>Assist marketing coordinators with day-to-day email and technical tasks </li><li>Fix email template issues and adjust formatting as required </li><li>Respond promptly to technical enquiries and turn around small requests efficiently </li></ul>Problem Solving &amp; AI Utilization<ul><li>Use AI tools safely to research solutions, learn underlying concepts, and debug code </li><li>Write clear, detailed prompts to explain technical issues, code snippets, and attempted fixes </li><li>Verify all AI-generated suggestions and code before applying them to live environments </li></ul> <ul><li>High level of written English communication skills </li><li>Proven hands-on experience navigating and updating WordPress pages, content, and settings </li><li>Working knowledge of basic HTML and CSS to fix layouts, edit email templates, and adjust page content </li><li>Strong attention to detail with a habit of checking work thoroughly before submitting </li><li>Excellent critical thinking skills to identify potential issues before making changes </li><li>Ability to follow written processes strictly and ask for clarification when needed </li><li>Practical experience using AI tools effectively to troubleshoot code and solve technical problems</li></ul><p></p>Nice-to-Have Skills<ul><li>Exposure to PHP or JavaScript </li><li>Experience configuring and troubleshooting WordPress forms and plugins </li><li>Familiarity with email template quirks across different email clients</li></ul> <ul><li>Permanent WFH Set-Up</li><li>Dayshift (Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours)</li><li>Full-Time Job</li><li>HMO</li><li>Annual Leave</li><li>Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 month's wage (pro-rate)</li></ul>
