The Document Production Assistant plays a key role in managing and preparing documents within legal, corporate, or administrative environments. This is a remote (work-from-home) position. </p><p><br/></p><p>The base hourly rate for this position is $17.00.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong></p><ul><li>Scanning paper documents to create electronic copies</li><li>Printing documents</li><li>Data Entry: recording information into the system of record</li><li>Electronic filing of electronic documents by transferring data between systems</li><li>Document retrieval from electronic databases</li><li>Saving, renaming, and redacting files</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy</li><li>Comfortable working independently and in a team environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Proficient computer skills including experience in Adobe and Microsoft Office Excel and Word</li><li>Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing</li><li>Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device</li><li>Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule </li><li>Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Remote Work Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Must have a private location within their home free from third parties and household members; and, </li><li>Must have stable internet service with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps or any broadband cable access that allows company-issued equipment to connect and operate without disruption. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security standards</li><li>Availability during business hours</li><li>Comply with the Firm’s Remote Working Policy</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Physical Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Be able to lift five pounds or greater</li><li>Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times</li><li>Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed</li><li>Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking </li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Please note that this job description is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee in this position.
