All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need. <h3> The Opportunity </h3> <p>The Corporate Hospitality & Events Sr Specialist will lead and assist the planning and execution of corporate hospitality and guest experiences, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service across Ally’s sponsorship events, tradeshow and hospitality functions. This role will lead and support the overall planning of multiple events and properties each year, including leading certain projects and ownership areas. Focus areas include, but are not limited to motorsports, soccer, golf, women’s sports, key lifestyle, entertainment and local/community events. The candidate should exhibit a strong talent for event planning and onsite hosting ability. Must be able to work well with a variety of business partners, establish strong relationships with Sr. Leadership and brand partners, be detail-oriented and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>Ally work locations Detroit MI or Charlotte NC </p><p><br/></p> <h3> The Work Itself </h3> <ul> <li>Lead and support the coordination and execution of high-level sports and entertainment hospitality events, including food and beverage recommendations, branding / décor plans, premiums research and recommendation</li> <li>Monitor budgets and expenses to maximize return through effective cost management</li> <li>Help to ensure policies, procedures and best practices are being followed for event and hospitality operations</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver a cohesive and world class experience</li> <li>Monitor and evaluate event success, guest feedback, and operational effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.</li> <li>Ability to function as client representative and host at applicable onsite events</li> <li>Ensure adherence of governance approval process, budget and supplier ownership oversight, supply accurate forecasting</li> </ul> <h3> The Skills You Bring </h3> <ul><li>3+ years’ work experience planning and executing high-level corporate events / hospitality required</li><li>Event planning experience in sports and entertainment programs and agency experience preferred</li><li>Proven customer service skills with direct experience in onsite customer hosting and event coordination</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and key social media sites</li><li>Strong onsite event skills in terms of presence, expectations, information and decision making</li><li>Emotionally intelligent, demonstrates good judgement and inhibits an inclusive mindset</li><li>Able to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines for a variety of deliverables, even while onsite </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy for project execution</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to provide clear direction and speak intelligently on key related topics</li><li>Travel required - including weekends</li></ul> <h3> How We'll Have Your Back </h3> <p>Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
