<h3><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">About the Role</strong></h3><div><br></div><div><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Apartment List's Data & Analytics team is looking for a Senior Analyst, Growth & Marketing Analytics to sharpen how we measure and optimize our marketing performance. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who has built real analytical depth in a marketing or growth context and is ready to apply it with increasing independence and impact.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">You’ll work closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Finance, and Growth teams and report to the Senior Director of Data & Analytics. Day to day, you'll own analysis and reporting within marketing channels or program areas, develop measurement frameworks that drive better investment decisions, and partner closely with our Marketing and Finance teams to turn data into action. This role sits at the intersection of technical craft and business intuition and it's a place where strong, rigorous analytical work translates directly into how we grow.</span></div><div><br></div><h3><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Here's what you'll do</strong></h3><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Own performance tracking, reporting, and analysis for marketing channels or programs, building reliable, well-structured work that stakeholders can act on with confidence</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Design and analyze experiments to evaluate channel effectiveness, including A/B tests and incrementality frameworks</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Build and maintain dashboards and reporting in Looker or similar tools that make it easy for growth teams to self-serve on key metrics</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Contribute to LTV and forecasting models, supporting the team's ability to connect paid marketing spend and lifecycle activity to downstream revenue impact</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Proactively flag measurement gaps, data anomalies, and analytical risks and bring proposed solutions</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Translate complex analysis into clear, well-scoped narratives for stakeholders across Growth and Finance, adjusting depth and framing to your audience</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h3><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Skills and experience</strong></h3><div><br></div><div><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Must-haves:</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">3–5 years of experience in a marketing analytics, growth analytics, or closely related data role, ideally at a consumer-focused or high-growth technology company</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Strong, independent SQL skills - you can dive into an unfamiliar data domain, write accurate and efficient queries, and know when something looks off</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Solid grounding in marketing measurement concepts: channel performance metrics, attribution approaches, and advanced measurement approaches (incrementality, media mix) </span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience building reporting and dashboards in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, or similar)</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Comfortable working with experimentation concepts; you understand what makes a test valid and what can make results misleading</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Strong analytical communication skills: you can identify the right level of detail for your audience and write up findings that earn buy-in, not just acknowledgment</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Fluency with AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting - for example, using LLMs to speed up SQL drafting, QA logic, or summarize findings, while still knowing when to verify outputs against your own judgment</span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Nice-to-haves:</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience across both paid and email/lifecycle marketing programs</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience in mobile analytics </span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or modeling</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience with GA4 or similar web analytics platforms</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience using AI tools to automate parts of the analytics workflow - for example building agents or scripts that pull data, run recurring QA checks, or auto-generate reporting summaries </span></li></ul><div><br></div><h3><strong><span class="ql-cursor"></span>Here's the Pay Range:</strong></h3><div><br></div><div>At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US Total Target Compensation (TTC) for this position is:</div><div><br></div><ul><li class="">Zone 1: $116,000 - $141,000 TTC (including $104,000 - $124000 base salary) + equity</li><li class="">Zone 2: $108,000 - $130,000 TTC (including $97,000 - $114,000 base salary) + equity</li><li class="">Zone 3: $99,000 - $120,000 TTC (including $89,000 - $105,000 base salary) + equity</li></ul><div><br></div><div>This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer. </div><div><br></div><div>We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
