This individual will play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic, financial, and operational plans while serving as a trusted partner to executive performing FP&A team to support the company’s continued global growth and operational scale.</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS</strong></p> <h3><strong>Strategic Finance Leadership & Team Development</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build, lead, and scale a best-in-class FP&A organization capable of supporting a <strong>$100M+ ARR, rapidly growing, geographically diverse, hardware-enabled SaaS business</strong>; recruit, develop, and retain top-tier finance talent.</li> <li>Operate as a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leader while elevating the team’s analytical rigor, business acumen, and executive communication capabilities.</li> <li>Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the FP&A function.</li> <li>Oversee financial business intelligence (BI) capabilities and drive consistent communication of key financial metrics and objectives across the company.</li> </ul> <h3>Financial Planning, Modeling & Performance Management</h3> <ul> <li>Lead the annual financial and operating plan, long-range strategic planning, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly performance reviews to support rapid growth at scale.</li> <li>Own and continuously evolve the company’s integrated financial and operating model, incorporating SaaS and hardware revenue streams, cost structures, and unit economics.</li> <li>Drive KPI development and performance management frameworks that align financial targets with operational execution and shareholder value creation.</li> <li>Provide proactive financial insights and key metrics that drive decision-making, improve operational efficiency and profitability, and enhance operational scalability.</li> </ul> <h3>Strategic Business Partnership</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO and executive leadership team, providing forward-looking insights that influence strategic decisions, capital allocation, pricing, investments, and resource prioritization.</li> <li>Partner across the company to align financial plans with go-to-market expansion, operations, global growth initiatives, and systems scaling.</li> <li>Support international and multi-entity expansion initiatives, including scenario modeling, investment analysis, and organizational capacity planning.</li> </ul> <h3>Operational & Systems Scale</h3> <ul> <li>Strengthen financial systems, reporting infrastructure, data governance, and analytics to enable scalable, real-time visibility into business performance.</li> <li>Improve forecast accuracy, automate reporting processes, and implement best-in-class planning, BI, and AI-enabled tools appropriate for a multi-entity, increasingly global organization.</li> <li>Ensure financial processes and analytics evolve in step with growth, complexity, and geographic expansion.</li> </ul> <h3>Executive & Board Engagement</h3> <ul> <li>Deliver clear, concise, and insightful executive and Board-level reporting packages that translate financial performance into strategic narratives and actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Prepare leadership for investor and Board discussions through scenario analysis, risk assessments, and performance analysis.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.</li> <li><strong>12+ years of progressive experience</strong> in FP&A or strategic finance, including significant leadership responsibility.</li> <li>Proven experience <strong>building, scaling, and developing</strong> FP&A teams in addition to managing them.</li> <li>Experience leading FP&A within a<strong> rapidly growing, multi-entity organization</strong>.</li> <li>Demonstrated success operating in an international, multi-entity environment.</li> <li>Deep expertise in SaaS business models, financial modeling, and strategic and operational planning.</li> <li>Strong executive presence with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional leaders and align stakeholders around financial strategy.</li> <li>Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with Salesforce, NetSuite (or equivalents), and modern BI and AI tools required.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What We Offer:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">AssetWatch is a remote-first company that puts people at the center of everything we do.
