We are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Primary Objective of Position</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>To have overall responsibility for achieving the assigned territory sales and profitability goals, in line with Computype’s Business strategies, revenue, margin and customer service goals. To develop business plans to expand the customer base and maximize the income for the company. To work with existing and new customers to discuss and fully understand their requirements, create and provide proposals for solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Account / Sales Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Grow and expand the existing key account customer base in alignment with company objectives</li><li>Identify and expand opportunities for repeatable, consumable-based business within the territory</li><li>Manage complex customer projects by coordinating cross-functional internal resources to address customer application challenges</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposed sales terms and conditions, and communicate and negotiate these with customers in alignment with company approved guidelines</li><li>Partner closely with the Technical Services department and other internal stakeholders throughout the sales process to ensure customer needs are effectively addressed</li><li>Utilize market insights and industry knowledge to develop and execute a goal-oriented territory plan focused on promoting Computype’s products and services within key markets</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely reporting of territory activity through Salesforce, including but not limited to forecasts, key account profiles, and sales call reports</li><li>Prepare and present RFQ resource requests that clearly communicate business needs, proposed approaches, alignment with Computype’s core competencies, and customer value</li><li>Actively participate in annual sales forecasting and ongoing forecast updates, providing accurate information and rationale for changes; communicate updates to the Finance and Customer Service teams as needed throughout the year</li><li>Support the implementation and communication of approved pricing programs and adjustments, including annual price changes</li></ul><p><strong>Prospecting / Sales Call Activity</strong></p><ul><li>Strategically plan and execute overall sales strategy within the assigned territory to maximize effectiveness and produce sales results; carefully plan each sales presentation by anticipating customer needs and or objections and the response to best close each opportunity</li><li>Execute the territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals</li><li>Utilize strategic selling acumen and listening skills to uncover customer needs and opportunities; deliver clear, concise, relevant messaging to target audiences and provide solutions to customers and prospects to drive desired outcomes and close the sale</li><li>Employ solution-selling techniques to identify business needs, and develop customized solutions to solve client business problems</li><li>Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses and effectively articulate and execute sales by highlighting Computype’s competitive advantage</li><li>Demonstrate effective sales closing techniques in securing profitable business</li><li>Prospect and open new key accounts</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>College degree</li><li>4+ years of sales experience in life sciences or technical/solution-based selling environments</li><li>Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotes and driving revenue growth</li><li>Ability to travel to customers and territory numerous times a month</li><li>Must be a self-starter having demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently</li><li>Must have superior presentation, organization and communication skills</li><li>Strong commitment to quality service</li><li>Demonstrated ability in the management of large accounts</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Starting base salary for this role is expected to be around the $90,000 - $110,000 range, commensurate with experience + Uncapped Commission Earnings. </strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance, Pet Insurance, Generous PTO policy, 401(k) with match, Profit Sharing. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer: Veteran / Disability </strong></p><p>We will consider all qualified Applicants for employment, including those with arrest or conviction records, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.
