To date, we have discovered more than 1,000 selective proprietary cortisol modulators.</p> <p>In 2012, we received FDA approval of Korlym® (mifepristone), the first approved treatment for hypercortisolism (Cushing’s syndrome).</p> <p>Today, our team and collaborators continue to unlock the possibilities of cortisol modulation as a way to treat serious diseases. With more than 30 ongoing studies across a wide range of disease areas, including endocrinology, oncology, metabolism, and neurology, we remain dedicated to advancing the possibilities of cortisol modulation.</p> <p><strong>What began as a ripple of scientific truth</strong> is now poised to unleash a sea change of discovery representing a fundamental shift in the way we understand and treat disease.</p></div><p>The Oncology MSL role is an exciting opportunity to work at a well-established pharmaceutical company that is poised to have a potential 1st in class oncology product together with a platform extending across multiple therapeutic areas. The initial oncology MSL team will comprise of highly experienced and motivated MSLs that will be focused on thought leader engagement, insight gathering, and scientific education. Territories will be finalized based on the location and experience of hired candidates.</p> <p>The MSL will represent Corcept to the highest ethical and professional standards and in accordance with guidelines, directions, and policies.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Engage in clinically meaningful scientific discussions with thought leaders in gynecological oncology and other malignancies to enhance their knowledge of Corcept, the role of cortisol modulation in oncology, and relacorilant</li> <li>Proactively communicate and educate health care professionals on disease states where cortisol modulation may play a role. Provide responsive support when appropriate requests are made. Engage in scientific exchange on Corcept’s non-clinical and clinical trial data as well as the clinical development plan</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships with thought leaders, patient advocacy organizations, and oncology associations (like GOG and ASCO as well regional organizations) within the oncology community</li> <li>Capture, analyze, and communicate insights and intelligence from the medical and scientific community in a compliant manner to help inform decisions by Corcept.
