Learn more at <a href="http://experianplc.com">experianplc.com</a>.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Cloud Engineer Intern will work under the Manager, Cloud Security and join our DevSecOps team. You will gain hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and supporting automation projects.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Help monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats and anomalies.</li><li>Support the configuration and operation of basic cloud security tools (e.g., WAF, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners).</li><li>Help analyze application and infrastructure logs to identify suspicious activity.</li><li>Participate in routine security audits and compliance checks.</li><li>Collaborate with senior engineers to implement secure configurations in AWS environments.</li><li>Contribute to documentation of security procedures and incident response strategies.</li><li>Learn and apply scripting skills (e.g., Python) to automate security tasks.</li><li>Shadow team members during incident response exercises and sprint planning sessions.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's<strong> </strong>program<strong> </strong>in CS, Cybersecurity<strong> </strong>or related field</li><li>Return to school in Fall 2026 to complete degree</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).</li><li>Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).</li><li>Interest in cybersecurity and DevOps practices.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Benefits/Perks:</strong></p><ul><li>Fully remote</li><li>Volunteer Time Off</li><li>Great compensation</li><li>Flexible work schedule</li><li>Eligible for 401(k) participation in 90 days</li></ul><p>At Experian, our people and culture set us apart.
