<h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></span></h1>We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Field Service Technician to support the commissioning, service, and lifecycle performance of advanced power electronics systems. In this customer-facing role, you will lead on-site activities, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality delivery across complex electrical installations.<br><br>This position requires extensive travel (90%+) within the home country and internationally, offering exposure to diverse projects, customers, and technologies across industrial, energy, and marine environments.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><b><span>Essential Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Pre-commission, commission, and service static frequency converters (SFC) and variable frequency (VFD) low voltage and medium voltage <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">drives/switchgear/transformers</span> and power systems. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide technical assistance and supervision to customers on the installations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide management with complete and prompt information and report regarding safety & project/service status, customer or equipment problems, and failures,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide technical assistance through on-site guidance and training in proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned programs and ground support equipment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide and assist quality team with root cause analysis and generate reports in case of equipment malfunction or failures to identify/analyse any undesirable trends.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Complete site documentations such as weekly safety update, installations check lists, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hands-on on-site parts replacement, testing, and verification of electrical equipment. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Adhere with company Health and Safety policies and work in safe and best practice manner to ensure the wellbeing of personnel and equipment are not compromised.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Able to interface at upper management and peers levels of the organization both internally and externally in clear and methodical manner</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Qualification/Requirements</span></span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Trade qualified Electrician or Electrical engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid understanding of Power Electronics, Electric Circuit, Electric Power Systems, Medium Voltage, Harmonics, with good hands-on skill.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers.
