<p>Description</p><p>As the Senior Manager, Account Manager – South Korea, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic clients connected to the South Korean market, serving as a trusted advisor to both Korean companies expanding internationally and multinational organizations operating in or entering South Korea.</p><p>You will play a pivotal role in building long-term client relationships, delivering exceptional client experiences, and driving commercial growth across GoGlobal's Business Corporate Services (BCS) solutions, including entity management, accounting, tax, payroll, corporate compliance, treasury, and related advisory services.</p><p>Working closely with our global network of experts and leveraging GoGlobal's technology-enabled solutions, you will help clients navigate the complexities of international expansion, regulatory compliance, and business operations across multiple jurisdictions.</p><p>This is a highly client-facing and commercially focused role requiring strong relationship management skills, business acumen, and a consultative approach. In addition to managing complex client portfolios, you will proactively identify opportunities to expand GoGlobal's service offerings, support business development initiatives, and contribute to the continued growth of GoGlobal's South Korea inbound and outbound business.<br /> <br /> The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of South Korean employment, payroll, accounting, tax, treasury, and corporate compliance requirements, enabling them to provide strategic guidance and practical solutions to multinational clients throughout their business lifecycle.</p><p> </p><p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>·       Manage and grow a portfolio of clients connected to the South Korea market, including Korean companies expanding internationally and multinational organizations operating in or entering South Korea.</p><p>·       Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and service delivery.</p><p>·       Develop account plans that align with clients' business objectives and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.</p><p>·       Work closely with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver effective solutions and support clients' business needs.</p><p>·       Provide guidance on entity management, payroll, accounting, tax, treasury, corporate compliance, and international business operations</p><p>·       Lead regular business reviews and stakeholder meetings to discuss performance, business priorities, and future opportunities.</p><p>·       Drive upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and service expansion opportunities across GoGlobal's service portfolio.</p><p>·       Stay informed on South Korea's business environment, regulatory requirements, and cross-border business trends to support clients and internal stakeholders.</p><p>·       Manage client escalations, identify risks proactively, and ensure timely resolution of issues.</p><p>·       Support business development initiatives, regional projects, and other duties as required.</p><p> </p><p></p> <p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field; advanced degree preferred. </li><li>Professional qualifications such as KICPA (Korean CPA), AICPA, or equivalent internationally recognized accounting, tax, finance, or compliance certifications are strongly preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related role within payroll, BCS, accounting, or tax. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of HR, payroll operations, and compliance practices in S.Korea. </li><li>Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>·       Commercial mindset with experience identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.</p><ul><li>Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality service. </li></ul><ul><li>Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. </li></ul><ul><li>Effective communication skills in both English and Korean (written and verbal). </li></ul><ul><li>A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset suited to a fast-paced, dynamic global environment. </li></ul><p> </p><p></p> <p>ABOUT US</p><p>GoGlobal is the leading professional services company to guide, establish and manage global operations with compliance and confidence.
