Our fully remote team spans multiple countries and time zones, bringing together diverse talent and deep industry knowledge.<br /></p><p>About the Role<br /><br />This position is part of our Talent Bench Program, designed specifically for recent graduates and individuals at the beginning of their careers in Finance and Accounting.</p><p>In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the daily financial operations of U.S.-based clients in the cannabis industry. You’ll manage recurring financial deliverables with increasing independence, demonstrate ownership over your responsibilities, and proactively suggest small improvements to existing accounting and reporting processes. </p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build technical accounting skills, gain exposure to U.S. financial operations, and grow within a collaborative, mission-driven startup environment supporting high-growth companies.</p><br />Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, invoicing, cash/payment applications, and journal entries</li><li>Assist with AP &amp; AR processes, aging reports, data entry, documentation, and month-end close activities</li><li>Deliver accurate, complete work on time while meeting quality standards and SLAs</li><li>Maintain low error rates and ensure minimal need for supervisor corrections</li><li>Build client trust through reliable support and contribute ideas to improve workflows</li><li>Collaborate with team leads and peers in meetings, check-ins, and shared projects</li><li>Develop technical expertise in accounting fundamentals, AP/AR processes, Excel, and ERP systems</li></ul> <p></p><p>Education:</p><ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics</li></ul></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role</li><li>Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks.) is preferred</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel </li></ul></ul><p>Skills &amp; Competencies:</p><ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting</li><li>Interest in process improvement and automation</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Advanced English level </li></ul></ul> <p></p><ul><li>Fully remote position</li><li>Internal Learning and Development Advisor / Consultant to support your growth</li><li>Salary increase opportunities based on performance</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth by working with some of the largest companies in the expanding cannabis industry ($10M+ monthly revenues)<br /></li></ul>Hiring Process:<p>Our hiring process consists of four stages:</p><ul><li> CV Screening – We review applications to assess experience and alignment with the role</li><li> Interview with the Recruiter – A focused discussion on your experience, expertise, and team fit</li><li>Assessment – Shortlisted candidates complete a role-related assessment to demonstrate their skills</li><li>Interview with the Hiring Manager– A final conversation covering long-term potential and overall alignment</li></ul><p></p><p>As this is a bench position, there may not be an immediate offer.
