<p><em><strong>The Lead BI Developer</strong></em> is responsible for leading the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with project ownership, client-facing communication, and team leadership. The Lead BI Developer works closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translates them into scalable data solutions, and ensures high-quality delivery across the full BI lifecycle.</p><p><strong><em>Key responsibilities:</em></strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Participate in all phases of BI solution delivery, including current-state analysis, business requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.</li><li>Design end-to-end BI and data solutions based on business needs, existing systems, and target architecture.</li><li>Translate business requirements into clear, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.</li><li>Define tasks, allocate work within the team, and monitor progress throughout all development stages.</li><li>Lead projects from both technical and business perspectives, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.</li><li>Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members during development and maintenance phases.</li><li>Take part in ongoing system maintenance and post-implementation support when needed.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities to improve BI solutions, development processes, and maintenance practices.</li><li>Lead and participate in client discussions related to business requirements, challenge assumptions when necessary, and propose better or more efficient solutions.</li><li>Act as a short- and/or long-term Team Lead for a subset of the Business Analytics team.</li><li>Mentor team members through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and continuous feedback.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Business Analytics Manager and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong><em>What we expect from you:</em></strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Strong experience working with relational databases, including data modeling and Data Warehouse design and implementation.</li><li>Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills; experience with object-oriented programming languages is a plus.</li><li>Solid understanding of ETL concepts and hands-on experience with both custom and out-of-the-box ETL solutions.</li><li>Proven experience working with BI and data visualization tools such as <strong>Tableau, Power BI, SAP BI, QlikView, or IBM Cognos</strong>.</li><li>Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.</li><li>Good understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts.</li><li>Familiarity with embedding BI solutions into custom presentation layers or web applications (e.g. Power BI Embedded, Tableau Embedded).</li><li>Experience using task and project management tools such as <strong>Jira, ClickUp</strong>, or similar.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset, ownership mentality, and the ability to lead initiatives and support team development.</li></ul><p><strong><em>What you will get from us: </em></strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Remote work, with occasional office visits</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Opportunity to work with a dynamic, fast-growing team</li><li>Private health insurance</li><li>Benefit package available to all our employees (day off for a birthday, discounts with our partners from different industries, FitPass...)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>If you are ready to contribute to this position, apply now with your CV in English.
