<p><strong>Location: Remote</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: 118K - 135K</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong><br>The Analyst, Sales &amp; Category Data will handle data analysis requests and provide reporting and presentation<br>support for the Retail Sales division. This includes but is not limited to, the analysis of internal, retailer and<br>syndicated data, panel data and syndicated and proprietary research to communicate business trends, project<br>results and business development for internal and external stakeholders. This is a remote position working across<br>the sales divisions, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. This position will be expected to stay up<br>to date on data trends, building efficiency and developing tools to provide easy access across a broad range of<br>audiences from internal senior management, marketing, large and independent retailers with unique business<br>information needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable<br>qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p> <p><strong>Essential Function Statements</strong><br>● Primary analyst for production of monthly, quarterly and account reporting for key meetings, including<br>dashboards and charts<br>● Power user of syndicated POS data and panel data as well as various data portals that Nordic Naturals<br>utilizes<br>● Refresh topline analysis for each data refresh period; identify sales patterns, areas for improvement, and<br>wins in the market.<br>● Prepare retailer specific business reviews prior to line reviews, business development meetings and top-<br>to-tops.<br>● Track performance of key promotional events, in-store changes and new item launches<br>● Partner with the business intelligence team, as needed, to support data governance, troubleshoot the<br>reporting database environment and perform necessary report data clean-up.<br>● Support the Senior Manager of Category Insights as needed with projects across other Nordic Naturals<br>departments.<br>● Become a subject matter expert on panel and point of sale metrics, partnering to understand the business<br>question and recommend additional or different ways of looking at a question<br>● Ability to communicate data findings to Retail Sales Directors, Managers and Business Developers and<br>explain metrics, sources and address questions and challenges<br>● Prepare training documents for Nordic Naturals&#39; end users who are not experts with the tools, dashboards<br>and metrics an analyst uses every day.<br>● Provide the highest level of quality assurance across all reports and data platforms.<br>● Maintain data confidentiality requirements of syndicated sources</p> <p>● Continuous learner of new data efficiencies from formulas to artificial intelligence to increase depth of<br>data the organization can use<br>● May attend key accounts and other sales meetings.<br>● Attend related webinars and conferences as requested.<br>● Additional related projects as needed.</p> <p><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Competency Statements</strong><br>● Advanced Excel experience with formulas, charting and dashboards is required<br>● Experience with syndicated data (SPINS &amp; Numerator) is desired.<br>● Proven skills of providing timely, accurate reporting with written and visual data representation.<br>● Demonstrated capabilities of managing several projects at one time, maintaining on-time deliverables.<br>● As part of a remote team, must be self-motivated and able to manage obligations without direct<br>supervision.<br>● As part of a team across multiple time zones, possess strong written skills to communicate effectively<br>across teams when office hours do not align<br>● Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, always striving for excellence.<br>● Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.<br>● Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication. <br>● Ability to view all situations constructively and partner for solutions.<br>● Ability to look beyond the standard solutions and find creative pathways.</p> <p><strong>SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Computer Skills:</strong><br>While the organization uses Macintosh computers, this position can be approved for Mac or PC<br>Must be proficient with MS Office Suite and have advanced Excel skills including pivot tables. Familiarization with<br>data visualization tools is required.<br>Familiarity with Google suite, particularly ability to collaborate in Google Sheets<br>Familiarity with Google Gemini desired</p> <p>Certifications & Licenses: N/A</p> <p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong><br>BA/BS in Business, Data Science, Computer Technology, Statistics or related field or 4 years experience in related<br>field or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>
