As an Optical Assembly Process Engineer, you become part of the NVIDIA R&amp;D team, and you will be working on the forefront of the communication technology, building the interconnection infrastructure for the Sophisticated Computing and Artificial Intelligence revolution.</p><p></p><p><b>What you'll be doing:</b></p><ul><li><p>Process Engineer for new technologies development. In this role you will be developing in the field of micro-electro-optics an advanced assembly process, and carry out processing, align, and assembly of optical devices and that are revolutionizing in the field of optical fiber communication.</p></li><li><p>Your work includes micro-assembly processes and equipment development as well as transfer to high volume manufacturing lines. You will be involved also in the development of the electro- optical devices. This includes:</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Operating the assembly work environment and equipment for accurate alignment and integration.</p></li><li><p>Learning the programming environment of the alignment cluster, to make new process sequences within this environment.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the process of bringing up a new technology from the R&amp;D stage, to the Engineering and bring-up then to the high volume manufacturing lines.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we need to see: </b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 5 years experienced Process Engineer in semiconductor, optics, or PCB industry.</p></li><li><p>B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Materials Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Physics or equivalent experience (M.Sc. is an advantage)</p></li><li><p>Good capability and understanding of machines and processes as well as the interface between the two.</p></li><li><p>Capability of working with machines recipes and software.</p></li><li><p>Self-management, innovative and initiator.</p></li><li><p>Superior problem-solving and presentation skills.</p></li><li><p>Teamwork player as well as sole worker.</p></li><li><p>High level of English (Speak, read and write).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Ways to stand out from the crowd:</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience with automatic active alignment and laser welding machines and processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience in development environment.</p></li><li><p>Background with the semiconductor or optical communication industry.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of optical devices and phenomena.</p></li><li><p>Valid background in flip-chip &amp; BGA process.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
