<p>We’re on the hunt for a valiant CurseForge <strong>Content Moderator</strong> to join our team and help keep our modding platform safe, engaging, user-friendly, and fun.</p><p>As our Moderation Maestro, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, from ensuring the quality of content across the platform to assisting creators with questions and improving the overall user experience.</p><p>So, if you’re a champion of content quality, a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, and an avid gamer at heart, join our quest and help shape the future of modding.</p><p><strong>This role is open to candidates who are eligible to work in the UK.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p> <br><h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li>Ensure the CurseForge project library maintains high standards of quality, appropriateness, and safety</li><li>Review, approve, reject, or provide feedback on mods and add-ons in accordance with content, EULA, and ToS policies</li><li>Prepare daily and weekly reports while maintaining open communication with our HQ team</li><li>Collaborate with Support, R&D, QA, and other teams to address daily operational challenges</li><li>Respond to creator inquiries across multiple communication channels</li><li>Proactively improve front-end and back-end project upload processes</li><li>Create support guides and how-to articles for creators</li><li>Forge a lasting alliance between mighty orcs and puny humans</li></ul> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>Eligibility to work in the UK</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in user support</li><li>Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday</li><li>Strong communication skills, patience, and a can-do attitude</li><li>Ability to work independently, with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills</li><li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills</li><li>Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English</li><li>Demonstrated accountability and ownership, with a track record of independently driving projects to completion</li><li>Proven decision-making skills, with the ability to apply policies, consider business context, and exercise sound judgment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a technology environment or software company</li><li>Solid understanding of different file types and folder structures</li><li>Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Lua, or others</li><li>A Minecraft player</li></ul>
