Our client is a thriving CPA firm specializing in the dental industry, and they are looking for a Remote <strong>Client Relationship Manager</strong> / <strong>Senior Accountant</strong> to own a book of 30 to 40 clients. This role is a dynamic mix of Accounting 40%, Advisory Services 30% includes both business and tax services, Tax Prep 25%, and Bookkeeping 5%, designed for someone who wants to help practice owners truly understand their numbers to make better financial decisions.</p><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li><strong>Client Ownership:</strong> Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of clients, managing relationships via email, Zoom, and phone.</li><li><strong>Advisory & Analysis:</strong> Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights that drive business growth.</li><li><strong>Accounting & Review:</strong> Oversee G/L activity, financial statement preparation, and heavy account reconciliations to ensure technical accuracy.</li><li><strong>Tax Integration:</strong> Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns and providing clean financials to the tax department.</li><li><strong>Workflow Management:</strong> Review transactional work and ensure all monthly accounting activities stay on schedule.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><ul><li>At least 5 years of accounting experience within a CPA firm is mandatory.</li><li>CPA or actively pursuing CPA is preferred.</li><li>Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must; experience with UltraTax is a plus.</li><li>Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.</li><li>You are a problem-solver who is "happy" in a client-facing role and thrives in a self-driven, remote environment.</li><li>Prior experience working with dental or healthcare clients.
