<p>Remote Tax Manager needed at a modern accounting firm to deliver advisory and tax services with a concierge-level service. Fully paperless, best-of-breed technology, no time tracking.</p><p>Job Description:<br />Remote Tax Manager will lead tax engagements and serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients. Work with a range of clients, including rapidly growing businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and family offices, communicating regularly to ensure they are taken care of and positioned for financial success.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base</li><li>Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests</li><li>Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings</li><li>Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures</li><li>Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support</li><li>Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) to be responsive to client requests.</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax</li><li>CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED)</li><li>6+ years (minimum) working in public accounting (REQUIRED)</li><li>Experience working in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls</li><li>Tech-forward; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general</li><li>Independent worker</li><li>Ability to coach and train associates</li></ul><p>Nice to haves:</p><ul><li>Experience using CCH Axcess</li><li>Experience using SafeSend Suite</li><li>Prior experience working with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners</li></ul> <p>What's in it for you?</p><ul><li>Work remotely, no commute</li><li>Competitive salary and incentive bonus package</li><li>401(k) with employer match</li><li>Medical covered approx. 90% by firm</li><li>Vision, Dental at employee cost</li><li>FSA/HSA + Dependent care FSA</li><li>Ongoing training including technical tax, finance, accounting, software, and soft skills</li><li>Opportunity to be a key part of building a modern accounting company</li></ul><p>If you feel you have the necessary qualifications, please forward a current copy of your resume and state your salary requirements.</p>
