People join us to make one.</strong></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>To help continue our rapid growth and solve our clients’ toughest problems, we need an experienced Network Engineer to join our Service Delivery Team. If you love to solve problems and add value, please consider what your typical days might look like… </p><ul><li>Serve as an escalation point for Tier 3 System Administrators.</li><li>Lead troubleshooting and decisive problem resolution for recovery of network functions from failure or degradation, including switching, routing, telephony, and telecom circuitry with both on premise infrastructure and public cloud where applicable. </li><li>Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion. </li><li>Perform root cause analysis to eliminate reoccurring incidents.  </li><li>Provide on-call support as needed. </li><li>Work with clients to interpret, clarify, and implement change requests on network-related solutions.  </li><li>Interface with vendor / manufacturer technical personnel for client problems that cannot be resolved effectively. </li><li>Communicate with clients, keeping them informed of progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. </li><li>Provide technical assistance, training, and mentorship as needed to other technical resources including end-users and staff. </li><li>Institute monitoring and alerting across all networks with automated and documented escalation procedures. </li><li>Administer and maintain site infrastructure, including network connectivity, and Internet access. </li><li>Respond to emergency network outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans. </li><li>Monitor and identify network capacity and performance issues to maximize efficiency of company communication systems. </li><li>Review customer operations for improving business process opportunities.</li><li>Establish standards for LAN, WAN and WLAN devices and associated connectivity.  </li><li>Configure and support physical and virtual network devices, while maintaining accurate network documentation. </li><li>Deliver assigned operational commitments to customers, utilizing the entire customer team as necessary and as agreed upon with the Systems Administrator Manager. </li><li>Assist with small projects and client onboarding/offboarding.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in routing, switching, and load balancing</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience</li><li>Technical Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, NSE6, JNCIE, ACDP, etc. are highly desirable </li><li>Expertise with network systems, standards (LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN) and protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, OSPF </li><li>In-depth knowledge of network security including NGFW, IPS, IDS and VPNs</li><li>Cloud Networking experience (Azure required, AWS, Google) </li><li>Experience planning, designing, and deploying network architectures </li><li>Proven ability in network capacity and performance planning and monitoring</li><li>Thorough understanding of 802.11 principles</li><li>Strong ability with end-user device connectivity </li><li>In-depth knowledge of QoS and traffic shaping </li><li>Knowledge of 802.1X implementation strategies </li><li>Proven ability to analyze and solve network incidents </li><li>Experience in executing medium-to-large-scale projects</li><li>Excellent communication and client service skills, both written and oral, including a proven ability to create detailed technical documentation</li><li>Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>What you should know about Resultant:  </p><ul><li>Rezzers are humble, hungry, and smart. We solve big problems, serve lots of clients, and are entirely committed to delivering transformative outcomes.  </li><li>Rezzers are team players, deeply dedicated to the mission of the organization and to helping everyone around us be successful.  </li><li>Resultant compensates well, rewarding performance that delivers positive outcomes for our clients and ensuring incentives are aligned to achieve our goals.  </li><li>Resultant leaders work hard, serving as a shining example of what it means to be a great Rezzer. They are servant leaders, helping their team to be successful in all possible ways.  </li><li>We have a great benefits package including unlimited vacation, significant 401k contributions, and several opportunities to develop yourself.  </li><li>We pride ourselves in having the best talent in the industry and hope that you’re up for the challenge!  </li></ul><p>What our team members say about us… </p><ul><li>“I love our true empathy and concern for our clients, it's very rare and appreciated.
