Every hour they spend fighting infrastructure is an hour the frontier doesn't move — so SkyPilot turns fragmented compute across clusters into one optimized, highly available and easy-to-use pool: a single AI supercomputer.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">SkyPilot (</span><a href="https://github.com/skypilot-org/skypilot" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(17, 85, 204);">10k+ GitHub stars</a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">, 14M+ downloads) is deployed at 100s of companies — from Fortune 500s to top AI-natives like Abridge, Applied Compute, Mistral, Unconventional AI, H Company, and Nubank — with usage growing exponentially. Born in the UC Berkeley lab behind Spark and Databricks, our growing team includes top-tier talent from Databricks, Google, Berkeley, MIT, CMU, and Cornell.</span></div><div><br></div><h2><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The role</span></h2><div><br></div><div><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">SkyPilot grew on the strength of its developer community — the engineers who found it, ran it, and told the next team about it. We're hiring a Developer Relations Engineer to grow that community the way engineers respect: by building. You'll work in the open on real demos, example apps, wrappers, and integrations (e.g., Autoresearch), plus the technical content and talks that teach engineers how to run AI infrastructure well. You turn SkyPilot's engineering into things developers can run, learn from, and build on.</span></div><div><br></div><h2><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">What you'll do</span></h2><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><strong style="background-color: transparent;">Build in the open</strong><span style="background-color: transparent;">: write demos, example apps, wrappers, and integrations that show developers what SkyPilot makes possible, with working code they can run.</span></li><li class=""><strong style="background-color: transparent;">Create technical content</strong><span style="background-color: transparent;">: write the tutorials, deep-dives, and docs that teach engineers how to run AI infrastructure well, and get them in front of the right communities.</span></li><li class=""><strong style="background-color: transparent;">Show up where developers are</strong><span style="background-color: transparent;">: talks, workshops, GitHub, forums, and conferences, as a credible engineer the community trusts.</span></li><li class=""><strong style="background-color: transparent;">Close the loop with product</strong><span style="background-color: transparent;">: carry what the community struggles with back to engineering, and help shape the open-source surface.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h2><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">What we're looking for</span></h2><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">You're an engineer who loves to teach: you can build a real project and then explain it in a way developers trust.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Strong coding ability (Python and/or Go), enough to build wrappers, demos, and integrations yourself.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">You know cloud, Kubernetes, and/or GPU and ML workflows well enough to be credible with infrastructure engineers.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">A track record of public technical work: content, talks, open source, example projects, or an audience you've built.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">You are energized by developer community and open-source.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h2><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">What we offer</span></h2><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Competitive compensation and equity</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage for you and your dependents</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">The chance to work with some of the best minds in cloud, distributed, and AI systems — with significant autonomy and ownership.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">A front-row seat at the latest open-source infra startup from Berkeley (lineage: Databricks, Anyscale).</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(29, 28, 29);">Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work</span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Location:</strong><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> San Mateo, CA.
