<h3><strong>Position Summary </strong></h3> <p>To advance <a href="https://teachforall.org/our-purpose">Teach For All’s 25-year vision</a>, we are seeking a <strong>Global Lead Recruitment, Selection, & Matriculation (RSM)</strong> to advance recruitment and selection practices globally. While this role contributes to network partners worldwide, it includes a particular emphasis on supporting and strengthening RSM practices across Asia Pacific. Success in this role means that Teach For All network partner staff have the necessary learning experiences, tools, connections, and resources to build strong recruitment, selection, and outreach strategies in order to build strong brands and to attract diverse cohorts of leaders to the program. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about growth, scale, leadership development, systems change, and diversity, inclusion, and equity. </p> <p>This role is part of Teach For All's Global RSM team and will collaborate closely with colleagues in Teach For All’s Asia Pacific regional team and with other regional and global teams. </p> <h3><strong>Global RSM Team</strong></h3> <p>The Global Recruitment, Selection, and Matriculation (RSM) team is a diverse group of seven staff members with an array of expertise, ranging from teacher recruitment and professional development, to governance and placements, to leadership development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. In collaboration with others, the Global RSM team aims to develop more collective leadership by growing our network and supporting network partners to grow their impact by:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting partners and prospective partners to live into our Unifying Principles through taking a holistic, cross-functional approach</li> <li>Enabling partner growth through unlocking progress in planning for scaling impact, recruitment, retention, and placement</li> <li>Fostering understanding about the next generation and experimentation in how to recruit and retain them</li> <li>Distilling and sharing recruitment and selection insights</li> <li>Designing and facilitating meaningful learning opportunities and communities in virtual, in-person, and blended spaces</li> <li>Providing tailored coaching and consulting to early-stage entrepreneurs and current network partners</li> <li>Contributing insights on recruitment, selection and matriculation to the broader global ecosystem</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Asia Pacific Region</strong></p> <p>Teach For All’s Asia Pacific region spans one of the most vast and diverse regions in the world, from Central and North Asia to South and Southeast Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific. The region is home to 20 network organizations with 2,800 participants currently in their two-year commitments and 12,800 alumni. While contexts are different, the region shares a commitment to developing collective leadership that expands educational opportunity for all children.</p> <p>This is a pivotal moment for the Asia Pacific network in Teach For All. As partners navigate growth, evolving funding landscapes, and increasingly complex systemic challenges, there is a significant opportunity to come alongside partners to help them bring in the most committed, courageous people from the next generation into our work and collectively build a better future for all children.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities </strong></h3> <p><strong>Serve as an RSM Content Area Expert to Provide Effective 1:1 Coaching & Consulting Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure that Teach For All network partner organizations globally, and with a particular focus in the APAC region, are investing in their core Theory of Change by recruiting diverse and promising future leaders into their cohorts at scale.</li> <li>Advance global RSM priorities by being a trusted thought-partner to Heads of RSM, CEOs, and senior leadership team members in the network on a range of topics such as building conviction around the need to focus on university recruitment, cultivating top talent through the selection funnel, messaging to GenZ and Gen Alpha, and more. </li> <li>Analyze and diagnose global needs based on quantitative and qualitative evidence and co-develop global priorities and strategies for content, learning experiences, resources, and tools in topics such as: recruitment, scaling impact, messaging, social media strategy, leadership development, strategic clarity, etc. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Seek to identify and learn from bright spots and amplify partner voice and connection.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide direct coaching and consulting to network partner staff in APAC and globally, in both 1:1 and group settings, that advance RSM practices aligned with network insights and best practices, and are culturally-rooted and responsive. </li> <li>Provide high-quality support to our network partner organizations using a multi-disciplinary lens that requires root-cause diagnosis, designing high-quality and targeted support solutions, delivering the support, and reflecting on the progress. </li> <li>Operate with high intercultural awareness, cross-cultural competency, and a commitment to and understanding of equity, and continue learning and growing in these areas.</li> <li>Navigate and provide direct support through highly complex layers of power, cultural, and interpersonal dynamics.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Design and Lead Learning Experiences to Strengthen RSM Practices in the Network</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and lead virtual workshops, in-person conferences, and peer-to-peer learning trips for Heads of RSM and other key staff at partner organizations to build connections, explore insights, exchange best practices, and share solutions to the most pressing challenges.</li> <li>Build and strengthen core recruiter skills on foundational topics such as delivering strong facilitation of virtual spaces and presentations and motivating candidates through storytelling. </li> <li>Design and build e-courses that can build the knowledge base and skills of RSM leaders in the network on key functional insights.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Build a Strong Community to Foster Collaboration and Learning </strong></p> <ul> <li>Set the vision and design, execute, and manage the regional APAC RSM community of 20 network Heads of RSM and recruiters. </li> <li>Facilitate regional learning calls for Heads of RSM to share best practices and problem-solve around shared challenges.</li> <li>Contribute to fostering a strong global RSM community by facilitating meaningful peer to peer connections in smaller clusters and one-on-one. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Create Knowledge Resources & Insights to Support Learning and Growth </strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn alongside network partners to understand what is working in local contexts in order to share broadly. </li> <li>Keep up with the latest RSM insights and practice in the field, including use of AI in talent sourcing and cultivation and messaging to this generation. </li> <li>Create and curate resources, tools, and best practices to provide partner organizations with actionable knowledge development and insights by leveraging 1:1 coaching conversations, community engagements, and learning experiences to identify trends and distill global RSM and messaging insights.</li> <li>Lead the development and execution of high-impact RSM projects and initiatives across the global network, including elevating examples of best practices and analyzing global trends.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Contribute to Teach For All's Broader Organizational Progress</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure that global progress in RSM is seamlessly integrated across Teach For All's global knowledge and operations by actively sharing insights, collaborating with internal teams, and lending expertise to key organizational priorities.</li> <li>Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment by acting as a liaison to other internal teams, including training and support, alumni, and organization strengths teams. </li> <li>Actively participate in and lead flexible organizational projects that leverage your unique expertise and strengths to advance Teach For All's broader priorities.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications </strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience leading a RSM team and/or experience as a senior member of a RSM team in the Teach For All network is highly preferred</li> <li>Sufficient English-language proficiency to lead group calls in English, provide 1-1 coaching and consulting in RSM, and to develop written knowledge products in English. Availability to work in APAC timezones aligned with the office hours of regional partners is required.
