Other RN licenses may be requested.</strong></p><p>The Adjunct faculty will provide online course facilitation for the pre-licensure Programs and/or BSN and MSN programs. </p><ol><li>Instruct students utilizing existing curriculum for assigned classes;</li><li>Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by using different and innovative methodologies and/or teaching techniques;</li><li>Assist with reviewing and revising syllabi and instructional guidelines;</li><li>Regularly evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving curriculum and course objectives and inform them in a timely manner of their progress</li><li>Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure quality of program</li><li>Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and assist with program data collection</li><li>Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) as the tool to deliver course content while maintaining relevance and currency</li><li>Provide access to students for ongoing communication through scheduling of office hours, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods</li><li>Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, and stay current with college updates</li><li>Commitment to teaching and working with a multicultural and multigenerational student body</li><li>Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for university and accreditation requirements/reporting;</li><li>Serve on curriculum and evaluation committee;</li><li>Faculty teaching in courses with unit/final exams are responsible for conducting weekly recorded synchronous sessions for students via distance modality (Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, etc.);</li><li>Faculty must hold a minimum of four (4) office hours weekly;</li><li>Faculty are responsible for exam analysis and reviews for all exams within assigned course.</li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ol><p>Pay: Based on grid of credit and student count</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ol><li>Registered Nurse with current and unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure or eligible in all states where programs are established;</li><li>Registered Nurse with current and unencumbered licensure in California;</li><li>Eligible for approval by CA BRN as Instructor for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics;</li><li>Master's Degree in Nursing required; Terminal Degree in Nursing (DNP, EdD, PhD) preferred;</li><li>Able to meet the faculty requirements set by California's Board of Registered Nursing;</li><li>Experience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students; effective communication skills, both verbal and written;</li><li>Minimum 1 year of previous pre-licensure nursing online teaching experience required utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS);</li><li>A documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments including but not limited to:<ol><li>education theory and practice,</li><li>current concepts relative to subjects taught;</li><li>current clinical practice experience;</li><li>distance education techniques and delivery.</li></ol></li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as needed</li></ol><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>For Full Time Employees, We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment</li><li>2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.  Increasing based on years of service with company</li><li>12 paid Holidays and 2 Floating Holiday</li><li>401K with a Company Match</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance at 1x’s your annual salary</li><li>Leadership development and training for career advancement</li><li>Tuition assistance and Forgiveness for you and your family up to 100% depending on program</li></ul>
