With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We’re seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with our enterprise sales team and support revenue growth across a defined set of Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 accounts in the West. <strong><em>Preferred locations: California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona.</em></strong></p><p>This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic customer engagement. You will be the trusted technical advisor to CISOs, security operations leaders, and platform teams - guiding customers through architecture design, evaluations, proof-of-value engagements, and executive-level technical discussions.</p><p>You will play a critical role in positioning Vega as a foundational security analytics platform, capable of replacing or augmenting legacy SIEM and security data architectures at enterprise scale.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to support a defined set of strategic enterprise accounts.</li><li>Act as the technical lead throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, from discovery through close.</li><li>Conduct deep technical discovery to understand customer security operations, data pipelines, detection strategies, and scalability requirements.</li><li>Design and present enterprise-grade architectures that demonstrate how Vega fits into and modernizes the SOC.</li><li>Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-value (PoV) engagements that clearly articulate ROI, performance, and operational impact.</li><li>Deliver compelling technical demos tailored to executive, practitioner, and platform audiences.</li><li>Position Vega as a strategic alternative to legacy SIEM, security analytics, and data platforms, addressing scale, cost, and operational complexity.</li><li>Support executive briefings, customer QBRs, and architecture reviews with senior security and IT leadership.</li><li>Provide product feedback based on real-world customer use cases to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy.</li><li>Maintain accurate technical opportunity notes, evaluation plans, and PoV outcomes in Salesforce and internal systems.</li><li>Stay current on evolving security analytics trends, cloud architectures, and AI-driven SOC workflows.</li></ul> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Pre-Sales role within cybersecurity or enterprise software.</li><li>Strong technical background in modern security architectures, including SIEM, XDR, security data lakes, log management, and cloud-scale analytics.</li><li>Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long evaluation periods.</li><li>Experience in high growth, fast paced environments </li><li>Ability to engage credibly with CISOs, VP-level security leaders, architects, and hands-on practitioners.</li><li>Proven ability to design and explain scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.</li><li>Comfort leading technical evaluations, PoVs, and hands-on workshops in enterprise environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deep technical concepts into business value.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset when working with Sales and Product.</li><li>Willingness to travel regionally for customer meetings and strategic account engagement.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience deploying, operating, or migrating SIEM platforms at scale.</li><li>Familiarity with large-scale log ingestion pipelines, detection engineering, and SOC workflows.</li><li>Familiarity with Vega’s mission, architecture, or AI-native approach to security operations.</li><li>Recent experience working in early-stage startups (Series B/C)</li></ul>
