Our team’s mission is to help tribal college faculty thrive and excel in their roles as educators, scholars, and leaders. We offer a variety of programs and resources for faculty, including an annual conference, writing retreats, graduate school fellowships, and professional development workshops.  We demonstrate the College Fund’s guiding principles of respect, relationship, reciprocity, and responsibility.  </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><b><u>Who You Are</u></b></div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left">The College Fund is looking for an organized and detail-oriented <i>Faculty Development Program Coordinator</i> to support programs that serve faculty across 34 tribal colleges. This individual will serve as an important front-line contact for faculty and coordinate the day-to-day operations of several programs. The program coordinator will have polished communication skills and is comfortable providing support to faculty members.</div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left">The position requires excellent program and time management skills due to the large number of institutions we serve and the wide range of programs we offer. The program coordinator will cultivate relationships with more than 1,600 faculty across 34 institutions, College Fund staff, and TCU administrators and staff.</div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left">This position reports to the Sr. Program Officer—Faculty Development and is expected to travel 1-2 times per year. This position is ideally based in our Denver, Colorado office; however, remote candidates will be considered.</div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><b><u>What You’ll Do</u></b></div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><i>Program Coordination and Implementation</i></div> <ul> <li align="left">Coordinate logistics of an annual, two-day academic conference, including registration, presenter travel, hotel setup, A/V and meals, onsite coordination, registrant questions, vendor payments, and travel reimbursements</li> <li align="left">Handle administrative aspects of the faculty fellowship program, including developing contracts and making disbursements, in partnership with program officer</li> <li align="left">Manage registration and logistics for faculty professional development (PD) courses and workshops</li> <li align="left">Contribute ideas for improving the implementation and monitoring of programs and projects</li> <li align="left">Be knowledgeable about the PD needs of faculty and help develop programs and activities to meet those needs</li> </ul> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><i>Data Management and Reporting</i></div> <ul> <li align="left">Develop and maintain highly accurate and organized tracking systems that provide up-to-date information on key programs (e.g., faculty conference registration, fellowship disbursements)</li> <li align="left">Help collect evaluation data that is used to assess our success and impact</li> <li align="left">Maintain updated contact lists for faculty and other stakeholders</li> <li align="left">Gather and organize data and information for various reports and budgets</li> <li align="left">Help monitor budgets and grant deliverables to ensure each program’s objectives are met</li> </ul> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><i>General Program Support and Team Operations </i></div> <ul> <li align="left">Develop and maintain an efficient, clear file management system</li> <li align="left">Be responsible for updating faculty pages on website and fellowship application portal (e.g., application deadline dates, posting conference resources, posting completed dissertations)</li> <li align="left">Process payments to conference presenters, fellows, and consultants (e.g., travel reimbursements, consulting payments)</li> <li align="left">Contribute content for faculty newsletter and disseminate newsletter</li> <li align="left">Work with public education team to highlight faculty and faculty development programming through blogs and press releases</li> <li align="left">Serve as administrative coordinator for Faculty Advisory Council and other meetings</li> <li align="left">Continuously seek to understand faculty members and their needs through meetings and conversations</li> <li align="left">Work with outside vendors (e.g., event photographer, video editor) and ensure they produce quality work on our timeline</li> </ul> <ul> <li align="left">Serve as on-site coordinator for annual conference (in rotating locations) and travel occasionally to tribal colleges and conferences to meet faculty and encourage their participation in our programs</li> <li align="left">Lay out and design flyers, conference programs, and other publications</li> <li align="left">Develop positive working relationships with stakeholders (internal and external), funders, and other organizations involved in faculty development programming.</li> </ul> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><i>Note: This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. The Faculty Development Program Coordinator may be assigned additional duties related to the role as needed to advance the College Fund’s mission.</i></div> <div align="left" style="margin-left:.5in;"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><b><u>What You Bring</u></b></div> <div align="left"> </div> <ul> <li align="left">Associate degree</li> <li align="left">At least two years of professional work experience</li> <li align="left">At least one year of experience in developing an effective system to track budgets, conference logistics, a grant program, or a similar program</li> <li align="left">At least one year of experience in planning events or meetings</li> <li align="left">Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal form with a range of audiences</li> <li align="left">Strong skills in program and time management</li> <li align="left">Strong proficiency in Office programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfort with learning new software</li> </ul> <div align="left"> </div> <div align="left"><b>It’s a bonus if you also have: </b></div> <ul> <li align="left">Bachelor’s degree</li> <li align="left">Personal and/or professional lived experience in American Indian/Alaska Native communities and/or with tribal colleges</li> <li align="left">Knowledge of the higher education faculty role</li> <li align="left">Experience working on grant-funded projects</li> </ul> </div><br>
