<p><span style="color:#000000"><b><span style="font-size:inherit"><br />What this Job Entails:</span></b></span></p><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">The Level 2 Network Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational management of enterprise and data-centre network infrastructure. The role involves investigating and resolving network incidents and service requests escalated from Level 1 support, performing network changes, monitoring infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues, and working with Level 3 engineering teams and vendors on complex problems.</span></span></p><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">The engineer will work across technologies such as switching, routing, firewalls, wireless networks, WAN/LAN connectivity, network monitoring, and data-centre infrastructure style="font-size:inherit">Scope: </span></b></span></p><ul><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Provide operational support for enterprise and data-centre network infrastructure.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Support LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and network connectivity.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Troubleshoot Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Monitor network infrastructure and respond to alerts, incidents and service requests.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Implement approved network changes, upgrades, configurations and hardware replacements.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Support network performance, availability and connectivity style="font-size:inherit">Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise and data-centre network infrastructure.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Diagnose and resolve network incidents, connectivity issues and service requests.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls and network issues.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Monitor network infrastructure and respond to alerts and service-impacting events.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Perform approved network configurations, changes, upgrades and hardware replacements.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Conduct structured troubleshooting and escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 3 engineering teams.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Support incident, problem and change-management processes.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Coordinate with vendors, service providers and cross-functional infrastructure teams to resolve network issues.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Maintain accurate network documentation, configuration records and troubleshooting procedures.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Participate in network maintenance, service restoration and continuous improvement activities.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Ensure all work follows established security, operational and change-management standards.</span></span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Required Qualifications/Skills:</span></b></span></p><ul><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience </span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Have a full understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, email, virtual machines and software applications</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Builds productive internal and external working relationships</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Understanding of server hardware technologies relative to content delivery performance and capacity</span></span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Preferred Qualifications: </span></b></span></p><ul><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Industry-recognized networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, Arista ACE, or equivalent.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Experience supporting data-centre, enterprise, or 24×7 network operations environments.</span></span></li><li style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:inherit">Exposure to network automation or scripting</span></span></li></ul><br /><p
