As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Best Home Health Providers, you will work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, regain mobility, and return to the activities they love — all from the comfort of their homes.</p><p>Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $95 per visit.</p><p></p>Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.</li><li>Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.</li><li>Apply physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to relieve pain and restore function.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.</li><li>Document care accurately and on time, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training.</li><li>Perform other duties as required for patient services</li></ul> <ul><li>Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.</li><li>Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.</li><li>Current CPR certification with AHA.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel to patient homes.</li></ul> <ul><li>Flexible Schedule</li><li>Ability to Convert to Full-Time Based On Performance If Interested </li><li>Paid Sick Days </li><li>Paid Bereavement Leave</li><li>Skills Training &amp; Development</li><li>Company Social Events</li><li>Mileage Reimbursement for Patient to Patient Visits</li><li>Referral Bonus</li></ul>
