When these leaders have the opportunity to succeed, their communities, their residents – and our country – thrive.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Position Summary </p><p>The Impower95 Loan Officer will play a crucial role in the success of the Impower Program. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for the marketing and promoting the Impower95 loan product, a product designed and developed for small business borrowers that generally would not qualify for SBA or conventional loan products. Loans are for owner-occupied or partially owner occupied commercial real estate. The incumbent must have an in-depth understanding of pricing, repayment structures, eligibility criteria, and the credit box the Impower95 product. </p><p></p><p>This role is eligible for remote work; however, the selected candidate must reside California, Arizona or Nevada.</p><p> </p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>● Market and promote the Impower95 loan product to lenders, small businesses, real estate and loan brokers, as well as other financial institutions, Certified Development Companies and community development lenders.</p><p>● Identify, cultivate, build, and manage relationships with external stakeholders and other community groups to further the reach of the program.</p><p>● Collaborate with Capital Deployment teams for cross marketing opportunities.</p><p>● Ability to make presentations to groups, individuals and represent Momentus at business and industry functions.</p><p>● Gather data (both qualitative and quantitative) about the Impower95 product and identify areas for improvement within capital constraints.</p><p>● Prequalify and Structure loans: </p><p>o Identify, meet, and pre-screen potential borrowers to discuss the loan program.</p><p>o Pre-Qualify, compile, structure, and analyze loan applications for eligibility, credit worthiness and repayment ability using established credit guidelines.</p><p>o Provide loan structure, use of proceeds, business history, management, loan purpose and eligibility narrative within loan management software (Ventures+).</p><p>o Determine loan eligibility based on any Geographic, Occupancy, Industry or Cash Flow specific requirements.</p><p>o Determine credit worthiness based on review of cash flow and credit history. Ensure prospects will meet basic credit criteria before moving files to processing or underwriting. </p><p>o Prepare and provide quarterly impact stories to CDC management and marketing team. </p> <p>● Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, marketing, economics, finance, or urban studies from a recognized college or university or equivalent qualifying experience.</p><p>● 5 years of business development experience, selling commercial real estate loan products.</p><p>● Well established network of Real Estate Broker, Lender and Community partner contacts.</p><p>● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports, publications and presentations to promote new ideas and share best practices.</p><p>● Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and successfully interact with people at all management and support levels, as well as people of diverse socio-economic backgrounds.</p><p>● Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.</p><p>● Commercial business and real estate loan structure and underwriting fundamentals.</p><p>● Sales and marketing techniques and ability to educate business owners, brokers, bankers, civic personnel, and related financial professionals on lending programs.</p><p>● Principles and practices of financial management.</p><p>● Methods of presenting economic development and financing information to the public.</p> <p>This role is eligible for remote work; however, the selected candidate must reside California, Arizona or Nevada.</p><p></p><p>The salary range for this position is $85,896 – $127,000 and is be eligible for commission.</p><p></p><ul><li>Structure A: $85,896–$114,671 All locations except Structures B and C</li><li>Structure B: $95,000–$120,000 Washington, D.C.; Maryland; Virginia (DMV); non-Bay Area California markets; and Massachusetts</li><li>Structure C: $104,697–$127,000 New York; New Jersey; and the California Bay Area</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
