The Clinical Admissions Therapist will be responsible for meeting with clients upon admission, building rapport, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and establishing treatment needs.</span></p> <p>We’re a mission-driven team working to expand access to life-saving behavioral healthcare for people who need it most. If you're inspired by our mission and excited to help transform the behavioral health landscape, we encourage you to apply.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrate personable and competent communication skills to develop rapport with clients and referral sources</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Present programming information in a thorough and supportive manner to help clients gain access to care</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults with various mental health concerns&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Determine appropriateness and fit for virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Construct provisional mental health diagnoses utilizing DSM-V criteria&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Document client information in accordance with regulatory standards using electronic medical record&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assign treatment team members and group schedules while informing staff of new admissions</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Interface with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams in facilitating intake &nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Collaborate with referral sources: hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers upon admission</span><strong> </strong></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Looking to cover the following shifts to meet the schedules and needs of our clients: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Mornings and Afternoons -&nbsp;Must be available 11am - 7pm MT</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Afternoons and Evenings -&nbsp;Must be available 12pm - 8pm MT</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Weekends encouraged</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Will consider alternative availability on individual basis</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Access to reliable technology resources to deliver uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality of care</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong><strong><br></strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults preferred</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions preferred</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Independent licensure in a mental health field required</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">An independent license is preferred, but we’re happy to work with associate-level clinicians who are eager to grow and work toward full licensure.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Charlie Health is pleased to offer comprehensive benefits to all full-time, exempt employees. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience.
