line-height: 20px;">The <b>Program Support Coordinator (PSC) </b>ensures the timely and accurate handling of the program’s prescription fulfillment process including, but not limited to, all pharmacy/prescription billing aspects; managing the timeline for the prior authorizations process; assisting patients with the activation procedures for savings cards; and thoroughly serving all other patient needs while providing exceptional service. </div> <div style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; line-height: 20px;"> </div> <div style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; line-height: 20px;">Major Responsibilities for the <b style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87); font-family: Arimo, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Program Support Coordinator</b> include:</div> <ul> <li>Receives and coordinates all program referrals and performs the following activities (but not limited to): savings card activations; insurance verification; test claims, prescription billing and billing error resolution; prior authorization assistance; customer service.</li> <li>Serves as primary contact for receiving phone calls from patients and physicians.</li> <li>Responsible for identifying and forwarding phone calls that are clinical in nature (e.g., dosing directions, adverse events, counseling, etc.) to Staff Pharmacists.</li> <li>Documents and meticulously makes notations in each patient’s profile regarding every update and aspect of patients’ care or physicians’ needs.</li> <li>Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality</li> <li>Uses discretion and independent judgment in handling customer complaints received, while documenting and forwarding to appropriate team members.</li> <li>Ensures that all prescriptions are billed in accordance with Medicare/DMEPOS, federal, state, and local regulations and laws.</li> <li>Communicates with Department Supervisor and/or Program Director on noteworthy program updates or obstacles.</li> <li>Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.</li> </ul> <div style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;
