While Psalm 23 is one of the most beloved and recognizable passages in all of Scripture, it is often reduced to familiar sentimentality, shallow comfort, or generic self-care imagery. This project will rescue the psalm from over-familiarity, grounding David’s words in rich biblical theology and connecting the imagery of the Old Testament shepherd directly to Jesus Christ—the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep and the Great Shepherd of the sheep.<br><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt">This book will explore what it means to live under the tender, sovereign, and protective care of Christ in a chaotic world, demonstrating how our true rest, protection, provision, and ultimate hope are anchored in His faithful character rather than our own strength.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">Scope of Work</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words) </span><br></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment</span></li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">Commitment</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Contract, per-project basis.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">Compensation</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold">Additional Information</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt">Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work.
