We are a purpose-driven organization that puts patients first and raises the bar every day.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Associate Director, Market Access &amp; Reimbursement to lead strategy and execution for optimal patient access, reimbursement, and commercial success of our innovative oncology therapies. This critical leadership role will shape how payers, providers, GPO’s, distributors, and patients experience Dendreon’s products across all sites of care.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Align with leadership in Commercial department to develop and execute comprehensive <strong>market access and reimbursement strategies</strong> to secure favorable coverage, coding, and payment for Dendreon’s cellular immunotherapies.</li> <li>Lead <strong>pricing, contracting, and gross-to-net</strong> activities, including payer and channel negotiations, government pricing compliance (Medicare Part B/D, Medicaid, 340B), and forecasting support.</li> <li>Drive <strong>buy-and-bill</strong> and site-of-care strategies across urology, community oncology, academic centers, and hospital outpatient settings.</li> <li>Oversee <strong>channel and distribution management</strong>, including relationships with specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, IDNs, and oncology networks.</li> <li>Lead and develop the <strong>Field Reimbursement</strong> team and patient support programs (HUB services, prior authorization support, patient assistance).</li> <li>Assist in leading both new hire and on-going commercial team <strong>training</strong> efforts</li> <li>Partner closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs to align market access efforts with brand strategy and product launches.</li> <li>Attend national and regional conferences, using the opportunity to engage with thought leaders and important customers</li> <li>Monitor reimbursement trends, resolve access barriers, and deliver insights to support business performance and patient access.</li> <li>Represent Dendreon in payer and provider engagements, delivering compelling access strategies and business reviews.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, PharmD, or other advanced degree preferred.</li> <li><strong>10–12+ years</strong> of progressive experience in Market Access, Managed Markets, Reimbursement, or Commercial Strategy within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.</li> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of people leadership experience, including leading Field Reimbursement, Market Access, or Patient Support teams.</li> <li>Strong experience with <strong>specialty pharmaceuticals, oncology, biologics, and buy-and-bill</strong> products.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of <strong>Medicare Part B and Part D</strong>, payer contracting, coding/coverage strategies, and government pricing programs.</li> <li>Proven track record supporting product launches and commercialization in complex reimbursement environments.</li> <li>Experience managing relationships with payers, specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, and provider networks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinking and execution in market access &amp; reimbursement</li> <li>Strong financial and analytical acumen (pricing, contracting, GTN)</li> <li>Outstanding cross-functional leadership and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Travel</strong>: 30–50% (to meet with payers, providers, distributors, and field teams)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Dendreon Way</strong></p> <p>We are guided by our core values:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Put Patients First</strong></li> <li><strong>Act with Integrity</strong></li> <li><strong>Build Trust</strong></li> <li><strong>Raise the Bar</strong></li> <li><strong>Drive Results</strong></li> </ul> <p>If you are passionate about expanding access to life-changing cancer therapies and want to join a high-performing team committed to making the battle against cancer personal, we want to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>Apply today</strong> and help shape the future of immunotherapy.</p>
