The pay for this position is $28.00 per hour with a $5.00 overnight differential.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">The schedule is Wednesday and Saturday from 12:30am-9:00am and Friday from 4:30am-8:30am PST, totaling 20 hours per week.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">This role requires a four-week 40-hour per week training (Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST) at the start of employment.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">Our work schedules are subject to change as necessary to meet the Agency’s and it's client's needs. More than 1,000 dedicated employees and volunteers make Didi Hirsch’s work possible. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>Summary</strong></em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">As a bilingual Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for oversight and support of crisis counselors and volunteers for the Suicide Prevention Center’s Crisis Line to ensure compliance with program standards, contracts, policies, procedures and guidelines.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>Primary Duties</strong></em></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Monitors crisis calls and provides consultation to volunteers and crisis counselors as needed, ensuring adherence to policies. Initiates debriefing sessions with volunteers and crisis counselors following each call as staffing permits.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Ensures that volunteers and crisis counselors comply with program standards, contracts, policies, procedures, and guidelines.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Identifies training needs and provides performance-related feedback to Spanish Bilingual Program Coordinators for evaluation purposes.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Supplies appropriate resources to volunteers and crisis counselors during calls.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Partner with Workforce Management to real-time staffing, schedule adherence, and attendance.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Maintains caller contact data and completes mandated reports and other relevant documentation.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">With support from the On-Call Manager, may determine the need for mandated reports and initiate Emergency Services Interventions (ESIs) for callers.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Attends routinely scheduled meetings as requested or required for the Suicide Prevention Center and/or Didi Hirsch.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Participates in SPC training activities.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Takes crisis calls as needed.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">May participate in outreach and media related activities as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>Requirements</strong></em></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Must be 18 years or older.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Six months of experience required as an SPC volunteer or Crisis Counselor at Didi Hirsch or an external crisis line.
