We believe in respecting individuality, fostering parent-student-educator collaborations, and embracing the potential within every student. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>General Role Description</strong></p><p>Bridgeway Academy is seeking a student focused <strong>Academic Advisor</strong> to support families through a personalized learning experience. The Advisor builds strong relationships, guides course planning, and ensures each student thrives academically and personally. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Support onboarding and provide ongoing advising to students and families. </li><li>Build trusted relationships and guide individualized course planning and goal setting. </li><li>Maintain communication, record-keeping, and exemplary service aligned with Bridgeway’s Standards of Excellence. </li><li>Partner with caregivers as co-educators and contribute to enrollment and community engagement. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including NCAA and accreditation standards. </li></ul><p><br/></p><p> </p><p>Requirements</p><p> </p><ul><li>1+ year in academic advising, homeschool support, educational counseling, or related fields. </li><li>Required clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and State. </li><li>Online learning experience preferred. </li><li> <u><strong>You must reside in one of the following states:</strong></u> Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Virginia. </li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong> </p><ul><li>Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds. </li><li>Critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail, and independent work style. </li><li>Comfort with management systems, LMS platforms, digital tools, and record-keeping. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Personal Attributes</strong> </p><ul><li>Passion for individualized education and student success. </li><li>Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous learning. </li></ul>
