The OJI reports to the Manager-OJT Training, and will support initial and recurrent practical training, along with special projects, as assigned. The OJI delivers hands on training that may require varied shifts to provide the necessary support for the maintenance organization.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Provide formal, structured On the Job Training (OJT) for aircraft maintenance personnel.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Perform Run/Taxi/Radio initial and recurrent OJT training/qualifications on the Airbus fleet.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Provide hands-on Instruction and qualification for ground support and servicing operations.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Conduct Airbus aircraft systems, avionics, and structures OJT qualification training.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Promote Safety through practical demonstration of compliance.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Support Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Apprentice Maintenance initiatives.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Lead by example to promote cultural values of safety, integrity, excellence, and teamwork.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Travel to alternate stations to conduct OJT as needed.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Additional duties as required.</span></li> </ul> <ul></ul> <p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Other Functions</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Effectively demonstrate proper use of standard office software and digital aircraft maintenance systems as applicable to the role of an Aviation Maintenance Technician.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Coordinate the development, implementation, and integration of OJT at Frontier Airlines</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Support and promote Tech Ops safety initiatives.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Document training completion in a Learning Management System.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Assist in cross-departmental functions as required by management.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #333333;">FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Previous Airbus A320 systems training (Preferred).</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Previous Airbus A320 Run/Taxi qualification (Preferred).</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Previous experience in conducting aviation maintenance on-the-job training (preferred).</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Valid US Driver License.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Able to acquire a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Five (5) years of experience in transport category aircraft maintenance.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Must pass background checks and pre-employment DOT testing.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.</span></li> </ul> <p><span
