<p>Description</p><p>Green and Spiegel U.S. seeks a Business Immigration Paralegal with 1–4 years of employment-based immigration experience to join our corporate immigration practice. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and managing a high-volume caseload of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters for corporate clients and will be comfortable working independently on routine case preparation while collaborating closely with attorneys, case managers, and clients.</p><p><br/></p><p>This position supports multinational and large corporate clients and requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable serving as a day-to-day contact for assigned matters and proactively driving cases from initiation through filing and adjudication.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>JOB DUTIES</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and manage employment-based immigration matters from initiation through filing and completion.</li><li>Draft petitions, applications, support letters, forms, and filing packages for attorney review.</li><li>Prepare H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, H-4, L-2, E-2 dependent, PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status, and related employment-based immigration matters.</li><li>Communicate directly with foreign nationals, human resources professionals, managers, and client representatives regarding case requirements, timelines, and status updates.</li><li>Analyze case documents and identify missing information or potential issues requiring attorney review.</li><li>Prepare and organize supporting documentation and exhibits for filing submissions.</li><li>Track case deadlines, expirations, and government processing milestones to ensure timely filing and follow-up.</li><li>Assist with preparation of responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other government inquiries.</li><li>Maintain organized and legally compliant electronic case files and records.</li><li>Participate in client calls, status meetings, and internal case strategy discussions as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with attorneys and team members to identify process improvements and ensure high-quality client service.</li><li>Maintain accurate case notes and documentation within firm case management systems.</li><li>Stay informed regarding immigration process changes, agency updates, and firm procedures.</li><li>Participate in required training and professional development activities.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>1–4 years of business immigration experience in a law firm or corporate immigration environment.</li><li>Preparing high-volume NIV and IV matters for corporate clients.</li><li>H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM, I-140, and Adjustment of Status case preparation.</li><li>Drafting immigration support letters and preparing complex filing packages.</li><li>Direct communication with foreign nationals and HR or global mobility professionals.</li><li>Managing multiple active cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.</li><li>Experience utilizing immigration case management systems such as INSZoom, Docketwise, LawLogix, or similar platforms.</li></ul><p><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to independently manage routine business immigration matters with appropriate attorney supervision.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work product.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to identify potential case issues and escalate appropriately.</li><li>Client-service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and client needs in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn firm-specific technology and case management systems.</li><li>Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and continuously develop immigration knowledge and expertise.</li></ul>
