Now, we’re seeking a Homelift Technical Installer to help ensure our dealer partners are fully equipped to install, service, and support our innovative homelift systems.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>As a key member of our technical support and training team, you’ll provide in-person and virtual training, conduct on-site dealer visits, and deliver top-tier troubleshooting and support. This is a dynamic role involving regular travel, hands-on instruction, and plenty of interaction with our valued partners.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Conduct training sessions (in-person in Sarasota, FL, virtually, or on-site at dealer locations)</li><li>Deliver phone and email support for installation, service, and product questions</li><li>Lead facility and field training for homelifts and elevator products</li><li>Create sales orders and process return material authorizations for repair parts</li><li>Assist in the development and review of technical documents and training materials</li><li>Support technical support and training teams with special projects as needed</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Able to explain complex concepts in a simple manner</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills – written and verbal</li><li>Able to speak confidently in front of small groups</li><li>Knowledge of current training techniques and tools including webinars, video, and interactive learning</li><li>Knowledge of computer applications, including the Internet, Google platform, and Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Complete understanding of homelift, vertical platform lift, or elevator technology</li><li>Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems</li><li>Understanding of the homelift market, preferably shaftless, and end-customer issues</li><li>Ability to read and understand schematics</li><li>Ability to organize travel, and be able to travel for at least two weeks at a time</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer issues</li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel with varied notice</li><li>Provide outstanding customer support, communicate with dealers via the phone, email, and face to face interpreting their concerns whether it is installation, or service, or training issues.</li><li>Attend, support, and lead facility or field training sessions for elevators.</li><li>Support the training and technical support teams.</li><li>Create sales orders and return material authorizations on repair parts.</li><li>Provide information about products, services and application information.</li><li>Develop or review technical documents as needed.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Experience &amp; Education:</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>1–2 years in a customer-facing role, ideally with technical products</p><p><br/></p><p>Associate degree or trade certification in a technical field; or 4+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply</li><li>Confident and comfortable speaking to small groups</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with digital tools: webinars, video, interactive learning</li><li>Familiarity with the Google platform and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Strong understanding of homelifts, vertical platform lifts, or elevator systems</li><li>Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics</li><li>Well-organized, able to manage travel and prioritize multiple issues</li><li>Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed</li><li>Provide outstanding customer support, communicate with dealers via the phone, email, and face to face interpreting their concerns whether it is installation, or service, or training issues.</li></ul><p>If you’re ready to grow your career and make a difference in people’s lives every day, <strong>lift your life with Harmar</strong>—where your work truly matters.</p><p><br/></p><p>The Harmar way (our Core Values), these are important to us!:</p><p>1.
