<div><b><span class="size" style="font-size:16px">Delivery and Portfolio Manager (IT Consulting) </span></b><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Location: Houston, TX or Remote </b><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Summary:</b> <br></div><div>Indigo Beam is seeking a Delivery and Portfolio Manager to personally lead complex client facing IT consulting engagements while guiding a small team of project managers. This is a hands-on delivery role — not a governance-only position — for someone who can run the toughest engagements themselves while setting delivery standards across the portfolio. Projects span application development, AI initiatives, modern application delivery, business process improvement, systems integration, and IT integration work supporting client M&A (systems consolidation, data migration, app rationalization).<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b> <br></div><ul><li><span>Personally lead 2–3 complex, client-facing engagements at a time from initiation through delivery, owning on-time, on-budget delivery at the margin sold </span><br></li><li><span>Run Agile delivery hands-on using Azure DevOps: write and groom user stories, configure sprints, track velocity, manage capacity and resource allocation, and produce status and risk reporting </span><br></li><li><span>Drive project planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, and user story development — especially during discovery and early shaping </span><br></li><li><span>Identify risks, remove obstacles, and keep engagements on scope, schedule, budget, and quality </span><br></li><li><span>Lead distributed project teams spanning the US, Brazil, and India </span><br></li><li><span>Oversee and coach 2–3 project managers running additional engagements; set delivery standards across the portfolio </span><br></li><li><span>Communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders, client teams, and technical teams; escalate and resolve issues early </span><br></li><li><span>Support SOW scoping and estimation as needed<br></span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><br><h3>Requirements</h3><div><b>Must Have Requirements: </b><br></div><ul><li><span><span>10+ years of working experience with 7+ years in IT consulting leading client-facing engagements </span><br></span></li><li><span>Strong application development project experience</span><br></li><li><span>Hands-on Agile/Scrum delivery from a PM perspective — user stories, sprint configuration, velocity tracking, capacity and allocation management </span><br></li><li><span>Experience delivering projects in the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, .NET, Power Platform) </span><br></li><li><span>Ability to lead projects from the ground up — discovery, requirements, shaping, and delivery</span><br></li><li><span>Strong business analysis skills</span><br></li><li><span>Experience leading distributed teams across time zones</span><br></li><li><span>Strong executive communication and stakeholder management </span><br></li><li><span>Willingness to work hands-on in the delivery details, not only at a governance level </span><br></li><li><span>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field</span><br></li></ul><div><b>Nice to Have: </b><br></div><ul><li><span><span>Prior software development experience </span><br></span></li><li><span>PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master) </span><br></li><li><span>Experience with IT integration work for client M&A (systems consolidation, data migration, app rationalization) </span><br></li></ul><div><br></div><br>
