Use a variety</p><p>of diagnostic tools to identify problems, and implement necessary repairs including replacing faulty</p><p>components, repairing wiring, and troubleshooting software issues.</p><p>• Perform assembly/modifications and overall quality defect resolution on all IE products and equipment. Driven</p><p>to resolve all QA/QC issues with full circle resolution with IE plants, PMs, Engineers, and Quality teams.</p><p>• May occasionally travel to support areas throughout the country and possibly overseas.</p><p>• Completion of receiving Inspections with internal Regional Managers, subcontractors, and customers to protect</p><p>IE from unjustified warranty claims.</p><p>• Assess Warranty claims and works Regional Manger to understand the validity of such claims with regards to</p><p>codes, specifications, and requirements.</p><p>• Performs preventative maintenance programs for an assortment of electrical/mechanical equipment to ensure</p><p>optimal performance and prevent downtime as well as generating new revenue streams for field service team.</p><p>• Ensures adherence to document processes for all work performed, including the nature of the problem, the</p><p>steps taken to resolve the problem, and the parts used in order to create professional service reports.</p><p>• Response to client calls, emails and texts is a critical priority and should be responded to without hesitation.</p><p>• Maintain, inspect, and care for IE tools, equipment, and vehicles, - tool inventory completed monthly, vehicle</p><p>inspection bi-weekly and monthly expense reports all due to the RSM on time.</p><p>• Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures onsite. This includes wearing personal protective equipment</p><p>when onsite, following lockout/tagout procedures, and working in a safe and hazard-free environment as well as</p><p>promoting and implementing and managing safety standards to employees and supporting networks.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Customer Relationship Management</strong></p><p>• Communicates effectively with customers and internal team to understand their needs and provide them with a</p><p>timely solution. This includes explaining the nature of the problem, the estimated time to repair, and the cost of</p><p>the repair.</p><p>• Responds to customer inquiries and complaints and works to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.</p><p>• Develops relationships with customers, commissioning agents and general contractors.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Team Development and Leadership/Mentoring</strong></p><p>• Adhere to all IE provided training, development and continued technicians products and services training to</p><p>ensure they are following IE best practices.</p><p>• Mentor and per develop any technicians or sub-vendors requiring training or knowledge of IE products and</p><p>equipment.</p><p>• Continued education, development, and safety training programs</p><p>• Evaluate and approve safety programs and safety ratings for subcontractors.</p><p>Other Essential Duties</p><p>• Maintains regular and consistent job attendance, comes to work and meetings on time.</p><p>• Follows and complies with IE Core Values.</p><p>• Follow and comply with IE safety program including following IE’s Cardinal Safety Rules.</p><p>• Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.</p><p><br/></p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable</p><p>accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p><p>Electrical/Mechanical/Commissioning or Assembly background with 3+ years' experience and at least three years of field</p><p>experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Business Experience:</strong></p><p>Must have 1-2 years of business and contracting experience in a similar job position with emphasis on supplier</p><p>agreements with general or subcontractors. Must be personable and be able to develop a professional relationship with</p><p>subcontractors and customer onsite supervisors.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Language Ability:</strong></p><p>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, purchase orders, and project part specifications. Ability to write</p><p>reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to</p><p>questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a friendly and professional manner.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Math Ability:</strong></p><p>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as voltage drop, cable runs calcs, sqft, volume, OHMS law and battery run</p><p>time.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Customer Service Skills:</strong></p><p>Ability to work effectively with multiple customers, subcontractors, and different personalities amongst a diverse set of</p><p>backgrounds and cultivate strong working relationships. Ability to address customer issues and resolve problems in a</p><p>timely manner.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong></p><p>Ability to solve practical problems with limited guidance, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations</p><p>where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, diagrams and schematics</p><p>furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Computer Skills:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong PC skills, proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and MS</p><p>Outlook.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Certificates and Licenses:</strong></p><p>Journeyman Electrician/ HVAC/Commissioning Certification or License from any state, Electrical Engineering or Technical</p><p>Degree with similar field experience</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p><p>Must be able to work a 40-hour work week and overtime as needed. Service calls may require night or weekend support</p><p>and coordination of team and resources for emergencies.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Must be based in or near <strong>Columbus, OH </strong>or willing to relocate there to service the region the most efficiently.
