Together, we create our culture by living our values in our day-to-day interactions with our patients and teammates.Job SummaryThe Senior Director of Facilities and Project Management is responsible for directing and supporting facility operations and oversight of capital projects related to construction, renovation, and maintenance across multiple facilities.  This position is responsible for working in conjunction with the onsite facilities management services to ensure the maintenance safety and efficiency of hospitals and related systems and facilities issues are resolved timely and in compliance with codes and regulations in partnership with hospital based facilities managers and hospital leadership.  This position also manages capital budgets and contractors, contracts administration, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, independently and in collaboration with onsite leadership.      Essential Functions<ul><li>Serves as the primary support center lead, working in conjunction with facilities management leadership and other hospital departments (clinical, administrative, etc.), ensuring that facility needs are met and operational goals are aligned with hospital objectives</li><li>Serves as the primary support center lead, working in conjunction with facilities management leadership and other hospital departments (clinical, administrative, etc.), ensuring that the physical infrastructure, including buildings, equipment, and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), are functioning effectively and efficiently and there is a plan to resolve emergent issue immediately</li><li>Lead project management efforts for assigned hospital construction and infrastructure initiatives</li><li>Maintain and update project timelines, budgets, and forecasts</li><li>Oversee project execution through completion and state agency review</li><li>Manage capital improvement and asset preservation programs across multiple facilities</li><li>Develop and manage project budgets, including hard and soft costs</li><li>Provide technical oversight in scheduling, budgeting, consultant and contractor selection</li><li>Assemble, negotiate, and manage contracts with consultants, vendors, and contractors</li><li>Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including state agencies, architects, engineers, and facility staff</li><li>Monitor on-site progress of projects and ensure compliance with quality and performance criteria</li><li>Maintain relationships with vendors and evaluate performance and risk</li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable related to project billing and ensure alignment with financial goals</li><li>Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ADA, Joint Commission, and other healthcare standards)</li><li>Maintain and prepare for inspections, audits, and certifications</li></ul>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations<ul><li>Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and scheduling pertaining to construction</li><li>Ability to lead multiple medium-to-large projects simultaneously</li><li>Effective communicator with ability to interface with hospital leadership and external stakeholders</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to travel as needed to project sites</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software</li><li>Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods</li><li>Frequent use of hands, vision, and verbal communication</li><li>Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds</li><li>Office and on-site construction environments</li><li>Exposure to construction hazards, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions</li><li>Requires use of appropriate safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols</li><li>Regular travel to healthcare facility locations as needed for project oversight</li></ul> Education<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred</li></ul>Licenses/Certifications<ul><li>None</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprises facilities and construction management is preferred</li></ul>

Job Summary
